Great video, Nigel! I really enjoyed it! It's really interesting to see it all taking shape from a different perspective. It's huge! Glad to see Tim was able to keep down his breakfast! 😉
Thanks Lesley, the new airport has just one runway and it will be named 05/23. Thankfully there are no other runways in the area with a similar alignment, so there won't be any confusion with nearby airports.
@@that_airfield_guy4731 Arborne Aviation. They went bust a few years ago. It just so happens that one of the 172’s I used to hire from them crashed at Camden a few weeks back, if my identification of the registration on the wreckage film on the news was correct - CPQ. Very sad for the young fellow doing training I assume.
@@alanclarke8877I do remember Airborne. I initially flew with Aero Training Camden who later became Camden Aviation. I only started flying through Curtis in 2019 when I learned tailwheel. Unfortunately it was CPQ. I believe he was on his first solo. Very sad indeed :(
Oh Nigel I need more of this. Love the front facing cam and narration
Cheers mate, will keep it in mind for the next video I do.
So good!😍😍
Thanks legend!
Just two great mates going for a nice fly on a beautiful day. Thanks for the tour, boys. 🛫
YSCN was always fun to fly in and out of in FSX.
It was a beautiful day....until the storms rolled in. Thankfully we'd finished our flight!
Great video Nigel
Cheers! I've been trying to convince Tim we should do an aerobatic flight, but so far no luck.
Great video/flight Nigel
Thanks Shannon!

Haha, Tim actually held it together pretty well this time! It sure is a massive project and there's still so much more to build!
Nice one Nigel And Tim. Amazing footage . Thanks for this.
Most welcome Craig. We look forward to doing another video in a few months time to see the changes since making this one :)
Thank you Nige and Tim ,wonder pic s of the new airport ,has it just one runway and what direction does it go. Love both of your work, 🇳🇿🇳🇿✈️✈️✈️

Thanks for that, it brought back some memories. I still remember the "cow sheds" for the first area solo when I started my training.
How cool! Who did you train with?

Fabulous vision. Thanks guys! 😊
Thanks and you're most welcome, Maree!
Well done, guys! I enjoyed this very much. Can you do this again, please?
Hey Lisa, yes, absolutely! Hopefully I can convince Tim to do some aerobatics over the airport with me :)
Great! That would be worth seeing 😅 @@that_airfield_guy4731
@@that_airfield_guy4731That would be interesting! 😂
Looking really good Nigel 👍
Thanks Paul! Thanks for jumping in to have a look at the vid!
Nice video different prospective 👍
Thanks Colin. It gives you a real sense of size from above!
beautiful flight!
Thanks Sean!
Unreal flight
Thanks Andy! We picked a good day for this one and got it done before the storms rolled in!
Which airport did you land at Nigel?
Camden (YSCN)
That's the one@@AustNRail! I fly out of Curtis Aviation at Camden
How long is the runway , and when compared to Kingsford Smith Airport ?
It will be 3700m. Sydney Airport's Rwy 16R/34L is 3962m
I think he's using a pretzel for a microphone
That makes it one expensive pretzel! haha. We were using Bose A20's with an nflightcam cable connected to the old GoPro Hero 5 for audio.
