Awesome footage. Superb hand-flying, the precision that professional pilots are able to have never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for the upload.

Fantastic perspective! May I feature this landing in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. All the best to you :)

The nose auto guidance and auto stop signals were developed here in Australia, by DCA and airport staff.

    Thank you!
I was allowed to sit in the jumpseat a few times. There was so much to take in that I didn't appreciate it enough.

Great video! Was this filmed in the Qantas 747-400 or another airline and 747 variant?

Sounds like _Sydney Tower_ called them *Qantas 74* (possibly SFO-SYD) at 2:24 of the video

I looked it up out of curiosity of the pink epaulettes, and it is indeed Qantas, and the colour is to do with raising money for breast cancer awareness.

I've often wondered why airliners are not fitted with a car horn or klaxon, in order to scare away errant ground vehicles that get too close! LOL

And one freaky extra arm at the end, does that come with the 747?

Look again. It's Sydney Airport, Australia. Chances are he came in on 34R, which is hardy some backwater airstrip! This runway was enlarged to be able to land a Space Shuttle (back when they were flying) if it ever got into trouble over this part of Earth.
