@@Jeffzzzaus haha no way!! This was just for fun and a whole lot of curiosity! The controls are super sensitive….just rest your arm on your lap and steer with your fingers.

On a sunny day the coast always looks fantastic!

That makes it one expensive pretzel! haha. We were using Bose A20's with an nflightcam cable connected to the old GoPro Hero 5 for audio.

@@that_airfield_guy4731 Arborne Aviation. They went bust a few years ago. It just so happens that one of the 172’s I used to hire from them crashed at Camden a few weeks back, if my identification of the registration on the wreckage film on the news was correct - CPQ. Very sad for the young fellow doing training I assume.

@@alanclarke8877I do remember Airborne. I initially flew with Aero Training Camden who later became Camden Aviation. I only started flying through Curtis in 2019 when I learned tailwheel. Unfortunately it was CPQ. I believe he was on his first solo. Very sad indeed :(

Thanks Lesley, the new airport has just one runway and it will be named 05/23. Thankfully there are no other runways in the area with a similar alignment, so there won't be any confusion with nearby airports.

I've done my tailwheel endorsement plus spins and aerobatics rating with them this year, so I've been back once or twice a month since the start of the year. We're hoping the borders open again soon too. I'm keen to get back to Europe in 2021 :)

Thanks. The spins are incredibly fun, especially once your body gets used to the rotations. Recognition and recovery from spins is a great skill to have, as spins are one of the big killers of private pilots across the world.

I did my first solo in rrw, craig was my instructor. Great place to learn!
