You are the first reactor who caught what I did, the mutual recognition that they care more about each other than the man they share does leaves a lingering sadness. These two mature women can care, and have so much in common, and still know that they can't really ever be anything but rivals. Very different than the woman who is the star sees her husband with an up & coming starlet and reacts in rage.

They've been friends for decades and said they didn't know why they waited so long to record together, they've been there for each other in their careers and Dolly is Reba's career idol, and Dolly loves Reba as much as Reba loves Dolly, appearing on Reba's sitcom, and when in the 1990's most of Reba's band tragically died in a plane crash, and Dolly said Reba, here please use my band so you can complete your tour shows.

For example- the fur Reba has with the white suit is the exact same one she wore in the 1993 video. Dolly wears the same color dress as Linda, etc. Just a few little homages to the original video. I feel like this version is that the women are equals and both brokenhearted. In the original, it was the slightly younger woman coming in to take him and there's this desperation. Both are so good! Also, Don't forget that Dolly is an actress too... She was in "9 to 5" with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in the early '80s. That is the only main stream movie I can think of for either her or Reba, but both did several smaller screen acting too.

To get the “blow something up” joke, you need to see the official music video. You also just need to see the official music video, because it’s iconic.
This is the first time they've recorded together. The other woman singing with Reba was Linda Davies, the mom of the lady part of "Lady Antebellum, or Lady A." They took the song to the top of the charts first.. then Reba recorded it with several people.
The version you saw with Linda Davis is the original version this one with Dolly is from Reba’s Revived, Remixed and Revisited album from a few years ago the original was released in the 199, and it was awesome to see them perform live because the really knew how to throw down and be all up in each other’s face
