@@Ashvz0 it depends when youre phone can play flac files than the ear buds can play it too. The Ear Buds are only a Blutooth Audio Device.

You are the only one that mentioned the Hot Swap Bluetooth feature - cool ! I love the Jabra for two simultaneously connected devices. This will soften missing that feature when these arrive.

Excellent review. When it comes to sound quality you do know your audiophile terms and use them to great effect to convey how they sound. Speaking of upper bass/lower mids, upper mids/lower table, articulation, etc. is very useful.

Been using the WF1000XM3 with my iPhone XS but it ALWAYS disconnects when on a call. Works fine for music. Anyone else facing this issue ??
So im debating airpods or these. Primarily i need something for workouts. Both are not water or sweat resistant and i dont wanna get beats. Which one would be a better option?

AirPods definitely are water resistant, mine got submerged and still work, just picked up the Sony ones I do like them but I think just for working out the AirPods! Note, ANC on Sony is amazing tho
Hey great review. I have a couple of questions regarding the these earbuds. They sound great, but everytime I have them in my ear, and walking down the street, I kept hearing "blue tooth connected" every 5 minutes which I found annoying. Also it keep saying "google assistant not activated". Whenever I want to use it to make a call I have to hold the right earbud and speak into microphone. I would walk down the street but again it would again say "bluetooth connected". Is there anyway I can eliminate this problem? Thank you again for posting this.
I never experienced any of these problems. I use an iPhone however. What phone are you using?

I bought Jabra 75T. It’s so good.
So I am actually on my second pair of these. Took the first pair back because when I put the left ear back into the cradle, the right shuts off and disconnect. Well just got the second pair today and does the same. Am I missing something in the settings? Please help. Thanks.
The fix to your problem is take off the Google Assistant from controls. An they will work
Can anyone attest to how well they stay in ear? I know they aren't exercise headphones but would it be okay to for a run on the treadmill?
Rucas For me, these are not the most stable in ears. I had to use the included hybrid foam tips. I wouldn’t really recommend these for exercise but they can work somewhat. The fit isn’t very stable and they have no water resistance. So, be careful.
Can you still rock these to the gym because they don’t have any water resistance what so ever?

Is there any lag when you're watching videos through the CZcams app on the iPhone? The lag on my Bose wireless buds are pretty bad and I'm thinking of switching to these.
Ben Kim No noticeable lag in my use. Only when used for gaming is the lag noticeable.

I see NO LAG AT ALL (and I was expecting a little lag and was watching closely) ... tested with CZcams playback on iPad Pro 12.9" 2nd Gen
You said it is a little bit warm. To me it is very warm sound almost too warm. Smooth but in a way that the details are washed a bit. I still couldn't find a perfect true wireless but it looks like this one is the closest.

These earbuds can pause youtube vids but won’t play after tapping to continue. When tapping once, it switches to iphone songs. Any way to fix this ? No prob going to next or prev video on iphone 6s, but won’t continue video after tapping once or it may take over 1 min to register and play youtube. No prob on macbook.
Oblivious Souk Could be that on iOS the play/pause button signal triggers Apple Music or whatever music based app was last opened.
I tried closing the song app and restart youtube. It still goes to iphone songs most of the time.
@@obliviousguy9741 the tap for pause play is not a CZcams app thing ... rather it is a Safari thing ... view a CZcams video from within Safari, you'll see the tap can pause/resume just fine.

Legendozu no delay for me. You might have to do a reset on the thing, but I returned my product and ended up getting airpods 2 w/wireless charging. Honestly, airpods work great and just fine for me. The only diff it seemed for me was sony anc was pretty good, but airpods pretty comparable for me though they don’t have anc. Airpods are louder which I like.
Okay ... so question, these wf 1000xm3’s arrived today. Both were 70%, and I’ve been playing with them for 3.5 hrs. The left went from 70% to 50%; the right went from 70% to 20% in the 3.5 hrs. I just heard an audio prompt to charge due to low battery. Why would the right drain more quickly than left? I’ve used both the same. Anyone else having issues like this ? I’ve not charged them yet ... perhaps the software miss-read battery levels and they were delivered with different charges. Charging now.
charge it and report back... it is normal practice to charge the batteries before first use- and to answer your question, it is completely possible that the earbuds came unevenly charged- even though they initially state 70%, a lot of electronics require a full charge and drain the first couple of use to calibrate the "display" of battery life accurately.
@@iphonian My plans exactly. ... and already started that ... the report back so far: 3 hours of solid use, and percentage is even now for the both at 70% ... (25 mins ago battery reported at 100%); I'm glad they are even, and 70% seems to be on par or better with usage, but they do appear to "jump" past exact reading from the app ... we'll see how 3 more hours do ...
iphonian battery did give out evenly. Battery percentage seems to be in increments of 100% - 70% - 50% and then 20%. I recharged at 20% and got 5.0 hrs with NC on. So would have gotten more if I allowed it to go to 0%. Numbers look to be about right overall.
Do they fit securely to use in gym??

Can you reply letting us know about how they react to sweat? Simply after an hour workout indoors. Ears dont release that water but would be interesting to know how they compare to the airpods while working out. My airpods case is filthy for some reason.
Also how far away is the bluetooth connection? Playing sports my phone stays on the sideline and the airpods cut off on the pitch. Can you compare?
Joao Lopes The Bluetooth connection is pretty good. About 70 feet for me. I got caught in the rain with these last week and they were somewhat covered with a decent amount of rain drops. They’re currently still working just fine.

As a Tidal user I would say these aren’t going to work for me, FLAC/MQA aren’t going to make any difference 😪 I’ll hear the music transcoding from the app to the internal DAC’s phone and thereafter from the phone to the Sony’s DSEE HX, what a mess 😞

There’s no point of comparison and I love Sony products, believe me, my TV my AV Receiver and my portable DAC are from Sony, but I’m really disappointed they don’t even put the “HiRes” logo on these, and guess why... 😪

It does! I tried with some really old shows theme songs. You know how low quality songs are generally flat with only minor differences? It bumps up the treble and bass accordingly making it a general more pleasant listening experience. 😁

But keep in mind that airpods also doesn't have official IP rating but lot of ppl use them as sport buds, so I guess If you doesn't sweat much you can use them

What's the trick to listen with one ear or the other? If I take the right bud out and put it in the case to charge, the left one dies and the app shows disconnected and won't reconnect. I am able to put the left bud in the case and the right bud stays active. 🤷🏻♀️

@@TheGamingAudiophile It's not right and left. Having Google Assistant assigned to a bud causes it to shut down when you put that bud in the case. Putting both buds on audio control lets both play individually. Strange... I'll experiment with the other options.

I'm using iPhone Xs Max ... I see the same thing, you could use the controls from iPhone (either connect app, or music app) to resume music play, but I do not see a way to resume with only the left bud in after putting the right back into the case. Let me know if someone discovers a trick to perform this.
How are these when connected to your PC? Any lag?
@@axnlogix That sounds strange. Are you sure that it isn't a problem with the receiver? Have you tried to change the codec from AAC to SBC for example and see if it works?

I expected a review of the earbuds buy ended up disappointed. I know it has an app which has additional features that you could have covered inside your 22 minutes. Also you could show some clips of some real world testing in different environments.
