@deathrooster14 , No, I keep them stock,and I love a stiff trigger on a Glock, as long as it has a crisp break.
@graysmoke89, We all go thought that. I love the .45 ACP, as you can probably tell, and I have lots of guns in that caliber that I shoot pretty often. For carry, though, there are lots of things to consider, size and weight being almost as important as caliber, within reason. After all, we'd all carry .44 Magnum if it were not so large and heavy. Also, as good as the .45 ACP cartridge is, I'm not convinced there's much difference in effect between it and a good .40 HP bullet.
Yea but just the #45 sounds cool. And saying you carry one sounds pretty intimidating
Not much diff in terms of damage between the 40 but better shooting in my opinion. Less snappy.
Also I think in ammo crunch you won’t have much HP around. JHP .45 beats JHP .40 and 9mm.

@@usptact absolutely love mine, smooth as butter and super easy to disassemble and clean. Shoots great too, highly accurate at 25 yards. Which is a tad bit farther than you’d be shooting in a self defense situation USUALLY lol.

Mannn, I wish I had a range like this. Metal targets are SO much better than paper targets. Not to mention blowing up those 2 liters and pots lol. This guy's long range shots with this gun are impressive. I have the exact same glock and shooting distance like this ain't easy.
Really like the closing thoughts in this video. Pretty much sums up my feelings about this gun also. I own a 21 gen 4. Best gun out there? Not necessarily. On the list of best guns out there? Damn right it is!!

just taking out the trash was a MISSION but knowing my big brother had his Glock 21 gen 4 with 2 spare mags on him made us feel confident we could persevere through what ever came our way ... thank you Glock for an amazing reliable product .

I bought one! Pick it up on the 27th! I feel like a lottery winner being in CA. My lgs told me it was the last one due to likely Glock bans after the new year. I love Glock - this is my third. Hickock convinced me in the beginning. Thank you sir for the great videos.
It's amazing the amount of fired casings just laying there at the compound, I should start bringing my fired casings from the range and just leaving them on the floor of the apartment to simulate the Hickok45 compound! Great video.

Just bought this. I was surprised by how light the recoil is. Even less than my full size 1911s. I’m definitely a fan.

I bought a Glock 21 Gen 4 yesterday(along with a Pearl White Glock 45) and love it. This probably makes G21 #6. I've had a bunch of third gen 21's. I had to try a Gen 4. I love it.

I have a USA Glock 21 gen 4 with the ghost 2.5 lb trigger, diamond speed sights, and +2 pearce magazine extensions, +10% Lonewolf magazine springs as well. Thats 15+1 in the chamber of 45acp. Gun purs like a kitten. Never a misfire or malfunction and it is accurate as hell. I've owned just about every Glock out there and the 21 and 20 are my favorites.
My G22 is my baby. Adding a G21SF to my collection shortly
+Robert Paulson Just recently added the zev fulcrum trigger kit and a Viridian X5L laser combo. Expensive but worth it.

Great Video. I never fired a Glock 21, but I once train LEOs on the .40 G22 and 23. The Glock is not a as fun to shoot as a 1911-type, but it is definitely an easy gun to teach, very reliable and just as accurate as any out there. I currently carry either a Colt Officer's ACP or a full size 1911 because of their thin profile. I heard that the Gen 4 series shoots smoother and that may mean other members of the family could use it. Concealability might be an issue though. Decisions, decisions ...

Nice Hickok45.... I just purchased this gun at Academy for $600, worth evry bit. Glad to see you like it and are doing a great review on it. I've only put 100 rounds through mine(ammo shortage), pretty descent no hiccups. great gun!
I just recently bought this gun, and i have to say im in love with it. Great videos, keep up the good work.
I'm still amazed that Larry Vickers said this gun is a "dog, always has been, and has the reputation of being the worst gun Glock makes." I realize that was some time ago, but still. Looks like it works pretty darn good here. And in all the other legitimate videos on CZcams.
I've never known anybody who did not like and have good experiences with the G21.
hickok45 when you say "where to hold the sights" what exactly do u mean? Where to hold on the target, or where to align the front sight inside the rear sight?

Thanks for the tip, Hickok! I wasn't even aware Glock issued a voluntary recall of virtually all Gen 4 Recoil Spring Assemblies (RSA). It's not even posted at their website. I ended up calling them and it's legit.
I think the recall is for all Gen 4s made before mid-summer 2011 except for the models 26 and model 27. According to the woman I talked to, the new RSA has a metal core and front plug. Mine should arrive in 2 wks, at which time I send in my old one.

I like seeing someone as experienced as Hickok who still racks the slide from the back. For some reason, it seems to me, the more experienced of a shooter you are the more you feel the need to rack it from the front. I guess it looks cool? This seems safer overall to me. Another awesome video!

@hickok45 went with the glock 26 just picked it up at the gun show today very happy so far, can't wait to test drive it. figured 9mm will be sufficient for self protection god forbid i need it, and yet very affordable to plink with, and i got the over sized 33 round mag just for kicks and giggles. =) thanks for helping me make a good decision hickok.

i watched as i contemplate a g21 and all i really learned was a) Ole boy has the BEST backyard shooting alley ive ever seen. a target rick enviroment with lots of feedback for good hits and b) prolly not the guy to get in a gun fight with, great shot. this is a static envirmonet and not a dynamic one but good aim is deadly shit
Just bought mine three weeks ago. Put about 250 rounds through it. My groupings are better than my G17 Gen 4. Love this gone.
I gotta say I believe this Glock would be my first choice in a 45cal handgun. Holds alot of big BB's
Just bought my Glock 21 Gen 4 a week ago. It is very soft shooting for a .45 and kicks less than my glock 23 in .40.
It's also laser accurate and still more accurate than I am.

Just bought a Glock 21 today (new Glock fan) and hitting the range first thing in the morning. Hickok45 this may sound crazy, but may I suggest letting some lucky subscribers come shoot with you and maybe teach new Glock owners a thing or two about Glock pistols. Popular channel plus throwing in a session with a subscriber here and there?? You'd make a serious roll model. Good video!

so far I've put about 200 rounds through it without a hick up! nothing whatsoever!

Looks like this is going to be my next Glock. I have the Gen 4 19 and Gen 4 26. Love'm both. Also have a PPQ I use in competition and an STI LS for my wife.

I can't ever watch another gun enthusiast besides you. Hickok your amazing! I was actually debating on getting either the Glock 21 Gen4 or the Glock37 .45 GAP. Any feedback would be appreciated.
@TribTrekker Gotta remember that the grip length isn't what it will be with a mag in it. You can't get a mag without the silly extended floorplate because of the way the mags have to be designed. Height of the gun (bottom of grip without mag to top of slide) is 4.76", G19 is 5" flat, g27 is 4.17". With mag in, it makes it even taller, and that's where the problem is with pocket carry IMO. Just make sure you hold it with the mag in it first, I was surprised by the difference.
I'm just amazed by the lack of muzzle flip in such a light gun. Must have a grip of steel.
