- Tuk Kroeung is a traditional Cambodian dip made of roasted aromatics and fish meat. This dip is spicy, salty, sour, and slightly sweet, and goes great with crispy and blanched vegetables. I also like to eat it with jasmine rice.

đđ one of my fav cambodian foods
I always enjoy watching ur channel. Looks delicious and also my fav Cambodian dish đ
Thank you so much for watching! Definitely one of my favorites too :D
Interesting use of canned tuna ... since it's almost the same and I wouldn't have to open a jar of prahok could I just use my padek that u often use? Since it's just the liquid being used from boiling the prahok? Thanks for the videos
This is economical & easier than the traditional way. I've yet to see my mother-in-law ever use tuna - she typically bakes or steams a whole fish, then you're left with the task of separating the meat from the skin & bones. Great job! ^_^
Yes, the way your mother in law makes it is the traditional way, and super delicious! Itâs definitely a task separating the meat from the bones đ so if youâre looking for a short cut version, this is an idea. Thank you so much for watching!
Yummy! I always use canned mackerel and add some dried fish powder! (maesri brand) And some tamarind powder. You should try it that way if you can, the flavors are phenomenal. Iâm definitely going to try this version too. This is one of my favorite dishes.
Your way sounds delicious! I love the fried fish powder, I know exactly the one youâre talking about. Thanks for sharing that, Iâll give it try too đ
I prefer live mud fish
That kind is good! Thank you
