Todays video will give you a step by step guide on grooming your Klee Kai puppy when they are shedding their undercoat for the first time! If you recently brought home a new Alaskan Klee Kai puppy or plan to bring home a puppy soon then you will want to know how to groom your Klee Kai when they start shedding their puppy coat. The Alaskan Klee Kai is a double coated breed just like their Husky family. If you use the correct grooming tools and teach your puppy at an early age to enjoy being groomed the puppy grooming process will be so much easier. Most Klee Kai Puppies will shed their puppy coat between 3 and 4 months of age. When they do start to shed or blow that undercoat you will have puppy fuzz everywhere. How often should we bathe and groom our klee kais?

I would brush you pup weekly, even when they are not shedding. Bathing is not needed too often. This breed is very clean. Maybe 4 times a year or as needed.
