It is important to research the dog breed before rushing to make a new Klee Kai part of your family. What are the pros and cons about the Alaskan Klee Kai dog breed? If you are getting a new Klee Kai puppy soon or hope to get an Alaskan Klee Kai for your family you will want to watch this to the end.
So what are some pros about the Alaskan Klee Kai?
    1. The Alaskan Klee Kai are a small breed
    2. The Alaskan Klee Kai are loyal companion dogs. They are committed to their owners.
    3. The Klee Kai are a super smart breed.
    4. They are an active breed to fit our active life styles. They can keep up with us on hikes and jogging.
    5. They do not have an odor. Some dogs have distinct smells, But the Klee Kai are odorless!
    6. The Klee Kai are the best companions, they are the kind of dog that wants to be a part of the family.
The common cons in the Alaskan Klee Kai dog breed are:
The stubborn minded - The Alaskan Klee Kai are stubborn! This breed can test your patience. They have a mind of their own and if they do not want to do what you are asking of them, they won't. Unless, you are the pack leader a stubborn dog can be difficult for some owners.
Velcro Dogs - The Alaskan Klee Kai are needy! This breed prefers to be like velcro to you. They want to be with their owners most of the time. This means if you are busy and do not have a lot of time to spend with a dog, the Klee Kai would not be a good fit for you. They can suffer from separation anxiety if they do not get enough attention from their family.
Vocal talkers - The Alaskan Klee Kai can be pretty vocal, they are related to the Siberian husky and tend to be a talkative breed. The Klee Kai is not necessarily a yappy breed, but they are going to talk back, howl and tell you how their day was. If you love your peace and quiet, the Klee Kai may not be the best dog for you.
Energy level - The Alaskan Klee Kai are considered a medium energy level dog. This means they do require daily exercise and mental stimulation to allow them to burn off their energy. A tired dog is a good dog and a bored dog is a destructive dog. So if you do not have an active live style the Klee Kai may not be the right dog breed for you.
The shedding - The Alaskan Klee Kai shed! This breed is double coated, that means they shed their undercoat two times a year. Weekly grooming and proper maintenance for Alaskan Klee Kai, is vital to reduce the amount of fur you see all over you, your home and car.

i'm taking car of a Klee Kai for a week now and its the nicest, friendliest dog i ever came across. it's a girl at 24.5lbs = perfect size imo. she never barks or howls when inside and looks 100% like a mini Husky...nothing like Spitz what i've seen a lot too and don't like at all personally!

Aww Klee Kai's are so adorable 🥰. I've been wanting to get one I already have a Shiba Inu so I'm already familiar with stubborn, intelligent, vocal dogs who shed

If I ever get another dog, I really want a Klee Kai. My family had an American Eskimo for 14 years. When she passed I got a Siberian Husky, and a year later we got a 2nd SIberian Husky. Now my huskies are 65lbs and 55lbs, my girls are big. I'd love a small "husky" type dog lol. Also we went from an American Eskimo who always barked/alerted/protected the house to my huskies who just stare at delivery drivers like "Can I help you?" - My husky girls are 2&3 years old right now, I hope they live to be 14+ but maybe after them I would get a Klee Kai xD

We have an Alaskan Klee Kai his breed is American eskimo, alaskan huskies and syberian huskie. Very loyal and really stubborn but he was so silent the only he bark is when he is begging for food.

My Qimmik came from Kika. She is all of these things and i love her hugely... even though she hollers the house down when she has to wait in her kennel for her next turn to play in agiliry class.

I ended up with a pomsky. I hope to get her a buddy at some point. She's more husky then anything. Love her but it can be hard. She's up at 5:30am I give her a bone to buy myself another 15. My pomsky is also really quiet unless she knows we are going to the dog park

Is there a particular time of year when they blow their coat or is it random?
I got what I thought was a pomsky, but DNA test showed a 25% pomeranian, 25% klee-kai and, 12.5% split between Staffy Terrier, Laborardor Retriever, Border Collie, and Australian Cattle Dog.
She learned her name and sit within a day at about 9 weeks when I actually made a day dedicated to it. She's very hyper and crazy when I get home, but when it comes to leaving with her, she actually sits at the door as i'm grabbing the leash and just looks at me and waits. I love it! Also very fortunate she is not shy/timid. My Chiweenie is the reserved one. Mocha (my Klee-Kai) seems to love everyone. Such awesome dogs.

Are they prone to run away, as huskies are?

At 1:45 “ #2 who wants the dumb dog that’s a year old who doesn’t know it’s name yet”. Well, some dogs happen to have learning disadvantages just like humans. I truly believe there are no such things as bad and/or dumb dogs, just bad and/or dumb owners. Remember, a dog is just that, a dog. We’re the humans🧠.

Maybe you just think that’s his or her name. Try a different one. I had a dog that I had to do that, no lie

Poor dogs in cages waiting for home but we selfish humans want to buy a puppy from a breder.
