When I'm grooming a similar dog, I will stick them in the tub and wash them as usual, then use a slicker brush with conditioner. The conditioner acts like a gripper with the hair! Once I've used the conditioner and slicker brush method, I will use a higher power setting with the sprayer that penetrates the under coat and will blast away anything extra. I like to use a shammy towels. also. I will squeeze any extra water out, then do a good rub with it all over, and it will loosen up any hair. Once I'm done with that, I use a velocity dryer (K9-II is my personal favorite) with a cone nozzle, and that will get the most out.
If there is STILL undercoat in there, I will use a deshedding tool. With deshedding tools, you have to be careful. You CAN rip out any healthy undercoat if you go too crazy.
This literally is saving my life! Our klee kai Mia sheds soooooo much! I need to get a few more brushes now!
Not sure how much you brush her, but try the different brushes and weekly brushing for just 5-10 minutes. I am sure this will help!

Unfortunately, it's more like once a week year round but daily when they blow their coat (which is twice a year). Usually in the early Winter and early Summer is when you have to do this daily. They're lovable, affectionate, dogs with huge funny personalities but do require a lot of maintenance! It's that double husky coat that people love so much!
When they are blowing their coat should you groom them daily? How long does it typically take for them to shed the coat? When not shedding their coat, do you still get as much hair on weekly bases with grooming? We are getting our puppy in few weeks, just trying to prepare as much as I can. Thanks
Yes daily grooming is highly recommended during the blowing coat season. Every dog is different and a lot depends on how often they are brushed when not blowing coat. It can take a good week of daily brushing to get it all. Giving them a bath right when they start blowing coat is also helpful/beneficial.

Simba is a standard size Klee Kai, however breeders can sometimes produce a pup that is oversize. In our breeding program it does not happen often, but it does happen.

Every 4 weeks during heavy shedding season, every 6 weeks during non shedding season!
