Unlock Your Vans Back Door from the Inside with This Genius Hack

I'll show you how to install a pullcord/lanyard enabling you to open your van's back door(s) from the inside. Many modern van's don't have the ability to open the back barn doors from the inside. Therefore you can only open the door(s) from the outside which can be a pain if it's raining or the ground outside it muddy. Therefore by fitting a pullcord or a lanyard to the doors locking mechanism, you can open the doors from the inside with ease.
To do this you'll need a lanyard/pullcord, 2x cable ties and cable tie cutters (scissors will do).

Do you need to put the vapour barrier over this inner metal skin or did you not bother for this panel?

Yeah I put a vapour barrier on the inside of the wooden panel.
