It makes me so happy to see you helping her. I also had postpartum OCD after the birth of my first. I couldn’t manage household stuff at all. The thoughts you describe and the having to sleep with my child is so familiar. For any other mothers out there feeling this right now: you’re not alone, you’re not weird or crazy, you’re just having a really hard time. I know how hard it is to ask for help. But please do so! It’s the start of feeling better. You will get through it❤
Lots of people can get a bit lost when they find fame with CZcams. You definitely have not lost it, you are so grounded and such a decent couple being able to do this with no judgement. I have a 5 year old and 10 month old and can only imagine the sheer elation that someone will offer to help! I found with baby one everyone wants to help. For baby two everyone disappears x
With young baby, every mum needs immense help from family and friends all. Cleaning is almost impossible as the mother is up most of the night with the baby and if she does all chores at home, she won’t be able to attend the baby’s needs. In my culture, family from both mum’s and dad’s side is with the new parents. It’s a blessing to have your loved ones around to help you.

This was really good video. I just needed something good to see when I was boiling chicken. My son's favorite food. Then I remembered that my sister too helped to clean and redo my room. I remember how good feeling it was. How I wake up next morning and loved my life again. I was hardly working 24 years old single mom. It really helped me afterwards too. Helped stay clean and organized. ❤
I liked how it wasn’t just a tidy and deep clean, it was also a whole house reorganization to change the way that the family actually used their space for the better and help make things more efficient.
Thanks for helping her and encouraging her that she is a good mother. Postpartum depression is real and needs real professional help. Most women are afraid to ask for help because they are afraid that children's services will be called. But most doctors now will help or recommend help for Mothers going thru this horrible occurrence in their life. God bless you for helping her.

Aw this made me a bit emotional. I really struggled post partum and i always thought it was post partum anxieties but you just described what that mum is going through, is exactly how i felt. One thing that helped me was a video that explained our intrusive thoughts are our brains way of scanning for danger, its doing its job and everything you think isnt you as a person, its your brains way of keeping you and those you love safe. There are some actual angels who walk this earth and you and matt are 2 of them!! What an amazing thing to do for this lady. ❤

I had these intrusive thoughts too! The bridge exactly! We had to cross a river very often and I could really see the stroller falling and my baby boy strapped inside! I had many of these thoughts. I should have consulted but here in Japan mental health is not much discussed 😢

I love this! She has a lovely home and I can relate to finding it hard to keep on track of things with a small child in the house. Without mental health issues, I work from home and still find myself chasing my tail and wondering when Ill find the time to do a proper clean sometimes xx
Hi Emily love your videos 😊❤ Label glue is very easily removed by essential oil 😊! I put a little on cotton wool and after a little rubbing the glue bounces. Probably all essential oils are suitable. I have tried tea trees, eucalyptus.. from plastic surfaces and from glass.. it always works 🙂
Love this ❤ Tip: to tackle things that are sticky or stuck on (like labels or stickers), there is a product in the states called "Goo be Gone." Or you might use a flat razor blade. Heating with a hair dryer helps lift them as well. 😊

Not sure if this would have worked but I recently learned that tea tree oil breaks down old stuck on adhesive from labels really well! The shower door reminded me and I wondered if that could come in handy!

Cheering all around!! 🎉 ooh also, I really rate the B&Q microfibres cloths, I’ve found they have lasted YEARS and are much thicker and bigger than other brands - I just re bought earlier this week and swapped out my old one that are finally dead to be under the sink cloths but daily use for 3 years for my instead-of-a-dish-cloth and another as a floor spills cloth have survived so well… this is such niche knowledge but I feel this is the community for this piece of knowledge!!

Hi Emily love your videos 😊❤ Label glue is very easily removed by essential oil 😊! I put a little on cotton wool and after a little rubbing the glue bounces. Probably all essential oils are suitable. I have tried tea trees, eucalyptus.. from plastic surfaces and from glass.. it always works 🙂

Love this ❤ Tip: to tackle things that are sticky or stuck on (like labels or stickers), there is a product in the states called "Goo be Gone." Or you might use a flat razor blade. Heating with a hair dryer helps lift them as well. 😊

Not sure if this would have worked but I recently learned that tea tree oil breaks down old stuck on adhesive from labels really well! The shower door reminded me and I wondered if that could come in handy!

Cheering all around!! 🎉 ooh also, I really rate the B&Q microfibres cloths, I’ve found they have lasted YEARS and are much thicker and bigger than other brands - I just re bought earlier this week and swapped out my old one that are finally dead to be under the sink cloths but daily use for 3 years for my instead-of-a-dish-cloth and another as a floor spills cloth have survived so well… this is such niche knowledge but I feel this is the community for this piece of knowledge!!
