- This is the full version of the Ninja Gaiden Sigma - Behind the Sword making-of documentary released with preorders of Ninja Gaiden Sigma on PlayStation 3. It was created by Game Trailers. I've seen it around youtube, but it was cut up in parts and upscaled, with channel intros added.

Quite interesting as a retrospective. We've come a long way.
The problem is, NGB feels quite finely balanced.
I felt the Rachel part was both lazy and too short. It feels like she's almost there. Her style with the hammer is fun, but by the time you play as her, it doesn't feel like you have a lot of time to get to know her, or collect and experiment with her accessories. Her movement looks weird and the boss is lazy in design.
It's a shame Ryu doesn't use her style with the hammer, because his one is a little boring and it doesn't give me a reason to chose the hammer over the Dabilahro.
I'm really not sure about the twin swords either. Sometimes they can be a bit over powered. But I haven't spent much time with them.
I feel like Sigma is designed more for the mass gamer. A lot of parts have been made easier, even Alma has been nerfed a lot, way too much.
The amazing thing about NGB is despite its difficulty, it was never really unfair. It's a very high skilled based game. Nearly 20 years on I'm still learning new things. And nothing is out of date about it. Even the graphics are styled well enough that it still looks good. Especially playing on my Series S.
Also, I'm missing the lack of force feedback.
you must really love Ninja Gaiden. it's amazing how the old NES games were great achievements and made history, then decades later, Tecmo makes another masterpiece with Ninja Gaiden.
I've only played Ninja Gaiden 3 on Wii U, but wasn't too impressed . recently they put the master collection on xbox and on Xcloud streaming , and I played part 1. One thing that really drew me was the music. so haunting and strange. It's like a horror game. I wanted to play more but playing it on my phone with touch screen was awkward. I just didn't to download it and play it with controller. I definitely need to buy it
@@VirtuaFighterRPG I only really play Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden 2. I played 3 once when the demo came out and then just stopped.
Sometimes I play a bit og the Sigma ones.
It is amazing how they evolved it from the NES games. Just like Mario from 2D to Mario 64. It's a real achievement that they did it on their first go.
Definitely get them, they don't get old. Watch videos on CZcams to see how people fight, and learn the different moves for weapons, you'll get a lot more out of it.

I still want ng sigma WITH THE 3 PREORDER CHAPTERS (released in Black for X-Box but not ps3) RELEASED ON PS4 or PS5 sssssssooooooooooo baaahhhhhhhhhd! I ordered a pre order copy in like 2012 hoping for the code and it included this awesome dvd video we're watching now... but the code didn't work :( I WANTED those 3 chapters.
What 3 preorder chapters you talking about?

Next Generation, they failed to understand that Hardware was leaping to new technology. Doesn't mean New Generation of players when the same people who been years of gaming consoles before l. Why aim for people who suddenly decided to start gaming within newest hardware release? PS3 was cheaper alternative access to Blu Ray player. Did Tecmo really give this new guy his first director on a game that already made couple year prior? Didn't this guy say have to prove yourself? What game did he make before no wait this was his first a REHASH. Yep okay.
