This short video was produced for us by one of our HMB Pro UK students in 2023, showing how and why he built a track system after coming on one of our courses.
such a beautiful track, your horses are so happy and have benefited enormously from track life, they have a wonderful home and are free to wander where they like, thanks for sharing
Hi, great track, nice to see people’s set ups, did you cover the soil with a membrane or scrape the top soil away, before putting stone and sand on top?
hi, no i didnt scrape anything away, i laid the stone and sand straight on top of the ground with no membrane, I wanted to raise the track above the ground level as much as i could to help it stay dry.
Thanks for sharing. Great to see as just struggling with mud on my track and thinking about surfaces… The sand look good. What type/grade of sandstone and sand did you use and how deep? Thanks
the sandstone is one that comes from this area, it is called carrstone and i used 2" mainly but also used 4" in some areas. the sand is called "as dug" so it is pre graded.

It's about time humid areas around the world start using this ground cover for the health of our four legged critters hooves. 😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍
