  • In this video lesson, Lindsay Setchell, talks about another well held myth in the equine world.
    It is believed that when an equine is in an acute attack of laminitis, and the laminae are separating, then it’s a ‘dangerous time’ for the equine because it could end up with a rotated pedal bone.
    Because of this incorrect belief, horses are pts, or put on solitary box rest for months in case P3 rotates, put in remedial shoes, have heels raised… basically subjected to misguided and life limiting practices. All in the name of something that never happens.
