Blondie: "numbers"... ok, here we go:
    MJ vs LeBron
This is a silly debate. Clearly Michael is better. It's not even a close one. But let's go to the facts. Updated after Lebrons 14th season. Michael Jordan has
    •3 more rings
    •3 more final mvps
    •1 more DPOY
    •1 more season MVP
    •9 more scoring titles
    •3 more steals leader
•3 more all defensive team selections
•4000 more points / bron moved past him in playoff points, but it took him longer lol.
    •800 more steals
•Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs (Lebron only defeated 10)
•Jordan never averaged less than 40% Field Goal in the finals
    Lebron did it twice
    •6/6 (never allowed a game 7)
    •Lebron had much more help
•Jordan never had a teammate averaged more than 22 points in the finals..
Kyrie averaged over 28 and DWade averaged more than 26
•MJ never ever had a finals meltdown like Lebron in 2011 against the Mavs
•MJ had more points in the playoffs in less games..
All of this accomplished in 13 seasons
Lebron is in his 14th season still chasing the "ghost that played in Chicago"
•Michael Jordan in the playoffs has put up atleast 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg in 6 different playoff series. Along with an average of about 55% shooting, 3spg and 2bpg.
(86 vs bos, 89 vs cavs, 90 vs philly, 92 vs Miami, 93 vs Phoenix, 88 vs cavs) Jordan won every one of those matchups except for the 1986 matchup vs the celtics.
•Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line.
•in 87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of atleast 51% FG shooting. LeBron has never done this.
•the lowest FT% MJ ever shot in a season was 78%. Lebrons highest in a season ever is 78%.
    •MJ has a higher playoff FG% of 48.7% to Lebrons 48.3%
•MJ has a higher playoff player efficiency rating of 28.6 to Lebrons 27.3.
•MJ shoots a higher playoff 3 point percentage of 33.2% to Lebrons 32.9%
•MJ also shocked the league by being the first (and only) player to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in the same season, then turned around and did it again the next year..
Seriously this list can keep going. This isn't even a debate. Mj is the GOAT.
Michael in only ELEVEN complete seasons with the Bulls:
    -10 STRAIGHT scoring titles,
-Won Defensive Player of the Year,
    -9 times all defensive team,
    -9time All NBA,
    -5 league MVPs
    -6 finals MVPs
LBJ missed the playoffs completely in his first 2 years. Jordan didnt with scrubs on his squad. Jordan played 82 games 9 times in his career once at 40. LBJ only played 82 games once. In 89 Jordan won the scoring title all star MVP slam dunk title regular season MVP and Defensive Player of The year something LBJ has never done. Jordan also averaged 41 pts a game for an entire Finals shootimg 50% and won. Something else LBJ never did.
All 11 seasons. Mj has done in 11 seasons things Lebron hasn’t done and won’t do in his whole career...
And before you criticize me for copy and pasting just know that it doesn’t matter if it’s copied or not, truth is truth.

This is exactly why women get a bad name in the sports media industry and why really no one takes what most of them have to say seriously.
Do you think blondie here has ever watched a full game of MJ's in its entirety? Doubtful. She probably hasn't even watched much of LeBron. And the other one, saying advanced metrics support LeBron's case?? Where is she looking? Because almost every single metric used today favors MJ in every category. And spare me the metrics talk anyway because the only people who care about that are the people who don't want to face the fact that LeBron is 3-6 in the NBA Finals and couldn't even take his Cavs teams that had the best record in the NBA TWO YEARS IN A ROW to the Finals.
LeBron had to team up with the second best player in his conference and another all-star to ever accomplish anything significant. And for those of you acting like Pippen was the second coming of MJ, if you read any literature on MJ's career you will realize that MJ almost single handedly created the machine Pippen became. Who has LeBron created? Every player he has ever played with has stayed the exact same player and disappears after LBJ inevitably leaves. MJ won championships with a bunch of white boy bench warmers and was able to do that because his assassin-like approach to the game bled into the rest of the roster.
This isn't a debate, not by anyone who actually knows the game of basketball. This bantering is just what the media uses for sound bytes because they're too lazy to think of original ideas. If you think LeBron is the GOAT, you are an idiot, and you need to spend a lot more time watching basketball pre-2000 era and less time touching yourself to LeBron highlights.

I was watching the Finals in Chicago back in 96. Payton was talking trash to Jordan. Jordan comes down the court, tells Payton "I'm faking left then going right Detlef Schrempf is going to help, I'm going to split you, then tell Sam Perkings I'm not switching hands this time". He did exactly what he said he was going to do. That's more amazing than his 6 rings.

These women have no idea what they're talking about. I highly doubt they watched Jordan play and they have no idea why he went to play baseball. Don't get me wrong, LeBron is a phenomenal basketball player and has incredible stats to back it up. However, he is playing in an era when players will do absolutely anything to get a ring. His team-hopping places an asterisk on his legacy that will never go away. Loyalty means nothing to most players anymore. Jordan stuck it out during some of the most physical basketball ever played. He was determined to make his team the best and he did it; 6 times. Like Jalen said, he probably would have done it 8 times in a row.

think of the goats of other sports. every other goat has not only amazing stats (LeBron's has incredibly good stats) but they also won when it mattered. Roger Federer has 20 majors titles with 10 runner ups, Serena Williams won 23 Major singles titles with 7 runner ups. Pele won 3 world cups in 4 appearances. Michael Phelps has 23 gold medals with 28 overall. the list goes on. not one goat had a losing championship record.
this is why LeBron will never be the goat, the simple fact that he is 3-6 for finals. I don't know how anyone can say a man with a 3-6 record in the finals is the greatest player. having a man with a losing record as your sports goat is a disgrace to the sport. your saying the best player your sport has ever known can't even win championships.
oh and I know basketball is a team game, but you have to realize if you are good enough to bring your team to the finals then you can no longer use your team as an excuse because that "inferior teammates" you speak of was good enough to beat everyone else.

You can’t judge an individual sport to a team sport sport. Phelps, Federer, Serena that all comes down to one player. LeBron James in only one player on a 13 team roster. No player wins alone. Magic, Bird, Jordan all had great teams and played with other superstars

Here is a list of most of Jordan's skills/attributes (I probably missed some) and I'll note which ones LeBron doesn't do well or really at all. I won't have to mention the rings either.
    MICHAEL JORDAN:
    1. Score
----catch & shoot (LeBron's not great here at all especially combined with moving w/o the ball)
----ball-in-hand (LeBron is good, not great)
----against double/triple teams (LeBron lacks here that's why he looks to pass if these happen to occur)
----free throws (LeBron is not that great here---this is one of the main reasons he's not the MORE complete player)
----post game (LeBron is ok---Jordan was one of the best)
    2. Rebounds (LeBron can rebound but he never really fights for them---they just happen to fall in his area or he steals them from teammates----just pay close attention to the rebounds he gets the next time he plays. Ironically, MJ avg's more offensive rebounds than LBJ)
    3. Pass (This is probably LeBron's GREATEST skill and Jordan's MOST underrated skill)
    4. Defense (LeBron can defend but he often takes plays off and not the defender Jordan was---hence the DPOY in '88)
----Steals (Jordan was the superior thief--led the league 3 years)
----Blocks (Jordan is arguably the best shot blocking guard to ever play---only player in history to have multiple years with 200 stls & 100 blks)
    ----Man-to-man defense
    ----Help defense
----Passing lanes defense (Jordan was highly skilled here)
    5. Strength
    6. Speed (at their peak, LeBron ran a 4.6/40...Jordan ran a 4.3)
    7. Quickness (Jordan had the quicker 1st step)
    8. Off hand (left hand)
    9. Go-to move (LeBron lacks here---Jordan had the fadeaway (outside) and the reverse (inside))
    10. Leader (both are great leaders---but if they played on the same team, Jordan would be the main guy because he's more of the alpha male & better leader)
    11. Basketball IQ (Jordan has it even in the clutch unlike LeBron)
    12. Handles
    13. Stamina/Endurance
    14. Moving w/o the ball
    15. Hands (Jordan has a glove for a hand that's why he was able to play people like a puppet---LeBron has decent hand size)
    16. Athleticism & body control (LeBron is a great athlete but just has decent body control)
    17. Creativity (LeBron has limited creativity when driving to basket to score; he can create for passing though)
    18. Hang Time (LeBron does not have this---he's a great leaper though)
    19. Clutch shooter (LeBron has hit clutch shots sometimes but not who he is--in other words, I wouldn't bet on him but if Jordan missed a shot, we would all be surprised)
    20. Clutch passer (again not LeBron's strong point although he's a great passer, just not in the clutch--he passes the ball even when he has the best look)
    21. Clutch rebounder (most people don't know this but Jordan was actually voted the 3rd best player to secure a clutch rebound to end a game behind Moses Malone and Dennis Rodman)
    22. Clutch defender (in '98 Finals, he gets the key steal against Karl Malone and then hits game winner---he was pretty much LBJ (defense) and Kyrie (offense) in 2016 Finals-game 7
    23. Footwork (LeBron's not great here)
    24. Fundamentals (LeBron is not the best here)
    25. Will-to-win (LeBron lacks here---he can be beat even with a good team)
    26. Playing through sickness/injury (There is no comparison! Jordan's game would usually go up)
    27. Competitiveness (nobody in the history of sports was more competitive than Jordan)
    28. The "It" factor (it wasn't so much what he did but how he did it---you couldn't talk about him before or during the game or usually it wouldn't end well for you...also 4th quarter time was "Michael Jordan" time)
Note: The area I can definitely say that LeBron has over Jordan is that he has never missed significant time due to a serious injury---he's been more durable. But we'll see if that holds up...it's possible though. And he's a better dancer too...lol.

After seeing so many of these kind of videos I think it really comes down to this:
If you know the history of the game, you understand how the game is played for real, and you're a longtime fan of the game you know that LeBron James is at best the fourth or fifth best player of all time.
If you are a more recent fan of the game, if you did not start watching basketball until 2000 and afterward and if all you care about are stats, then you would probably put LeBron James has the greatest or second greatest player of all time.
But I'm sorry, comparing LeBron James to Michael Jordan is like comparing Jerry West to Bill Russell
