Aster Green @ Sri Petaling: No tiles at kitchen area? WHAT!!! No issues! Type D, 958sqft, 3R2B unit

  • This property is unique in so many ways. For a start, the kitchen area does not even have any tiles. What?!?! No tiles?!?! How is that even possible? Surely this must be a cheap, poorly constructed project with lousy workmanship, right? Far from it. To my surprise, although the wall tiles were missing conspicuously from the kitchen area, that didn't seem to be an issue at all in the grand scheme of things. The full glass door leading to the yard was a fresh welcome, allowing a full burst of sunlight to light up the kitchen area.
    Not just within the unit, but also along the walkway corridor, with the louvered windows and glass panels allowing light to shine in while also regulating airflow. This open concept of having paths for the wind to flow through is also evident on the facilities floor, where it is constantly breezy even on a hot and dry afternoon.

    Good video as always! UOA Developer is just like our good ol Japanese car manufacturer. The design is nothing out of usual and the product is always reliable!
    Initially they enjoy the competitive advantage of being located in the freehold areas, now that YB Teresa Kok has managed to turn all Sri Petaling into a free hold city, I'm afraid that it's FH advantage has also been equalised/nullified accordingly 😂

      That's one of the good things about a branded and big developer like UOA, where there is solid backing and the products can't go wrong. One interesting fact about UOA that I should mentioned in my video is that the parent company of UOA Development Berhad is UOA Limited, where it's incorporated in Australia and also listed in the Australia Stock Exchange. Fun fact: UOA stands for United Overseas Australia. :-)
      Yeah, good move to convert back the land titles of those impacted projects back from leasehold to freehold. The location of Aster Green and the upcoming Aster Hill is quite solid, an advantage that will be unique to these 2 developments.

    Besides the infamous federal highway property, there is another newly VP property in Setiawangsa chose louver and floods happened at corridor during heavy rain. It is not a defect but a bad architectural design choice. Good thing is the developer rectified it by installing windows. For people planning to get a new project, always remember to ask your SA about the corridor window design.

      I think I know which property in Setiawangsa that you're referring to. I covered it in one of my reviews. That isn't anywhere close to the one along Federal Highway, which was pretty much like a waterfall at the windows whenever it rained heavily.

    Dk you know the walking distance to taman naga emas mrt station? Checked propguru stated 800m

      Nope, it isn't. Assuming you can use the backgate (which is only temporarily, done by the developer for the construction workers that are staying in one of the landed houses), it is still at least 1.4km walk on the shortest path. But if proper path exiting from the front, will be a big, big circle.
