FYI the first guy is actually making $100,000 USD/month running a dog grooming business in Japan
Wow
This guy’s living good
That's cool, I basically do the same thing. But instead of dogs its children and I dont get payed

Lol it's wierd to see Mr. Nippon in the Video(the last guy). Normally he creates German videos about Japan where he ask other people and not like the other way😂
I know right? It's so weird him being questioned 😂😂
please continue this content man, me and my friends stream you on discord because currently we are gonna deployed to japan in 6 months. this made us get fired up and think how fun it is
Bladee?
holy DG being deployed in Japan?
2 months Remaining ay?
Japan is not a deployment 🤦🏽♂️
I like the engineer who falsely reported his salary just for his friend. A really nice person!
True engineers make way more then that but i guess it isn't that smart to actually hid it from his fellow friend one day he might slip and reveal it it's better he don't bother hiding in the long run
Im working as an engineer in japan currently. Believe me, he might not be lying lol
@@zafuranfrio ok we believe you, random english speaking person living in japan
@@lottexy For real though, engineers don't necessarily make a lot more. Especially people who have studied mechanical, civil or electrical (not electronics). US is generally an outlier when it comes to engineers getting a good pay.
@@SV-mc1jq ok i believe you
8:38 That's actually how my mom taught me about the "salary you should be making" a month as in when you're 20, 20mann($2,000), when you're 40, 40mann($4,000). It sometimes motivated me to set a certain achievement, but sometimes it depressed me when I was not making that.
it also de[ends where you live though. I only make like $2500 a month (im 26) but im richer than most because I earn that amount in the on of the cheapest countries in the world, so I save like 70% of my salary every month, and that includes having a nice villa (with private pool) and eating out at restraunts 3 times a day
@@ashleyez2022 Be even greedier. Unless you plan to live in the cheapest country until old (which might not be the case because cheapest country might not have the best medical).
@@LifeHacksProducts i mean, i fly to thailand like every few months and they have great healthcare. i plan to stay in southeast asia for the rest of my life if i can help it
@@ashleyez2022 wait so you live in Thailand?

Great work....informative, and fun
I like how there’s such a broad range of people living in Japan and you seem to find a lot of foreigners in your vids which is dope too cos I thought there wouldn’t be that many commonly just around
There's not really, that's just in Tokyo. If you go literally anywhere else, you won't see foreigners.
Tokyo and the rest of Japan feel like two different countries. That would be like going to New York City and being like, "Wow, all of the US is exactly like New York City"
Keep up the great content bro, goes to 100k subs

I love how most of the people in this video are happy, I guess it was a happy day 😊
Not all Japanese people are depressed lol
Edit: But yeah, seems to have good weather, and often times good weather means good mood
Recruitment consultant is pretty common here in Japan among foreigner especially English speaker. Most of the English speakers that come to Japan, they don't speak any Japanese at all and don't bother to learn.
So their first opt is to be an English teacher or an ALT. After they have worked for a few years as a teacher and decided to quit, they can't find any jobs because they don't speak any Japanese.
So they can't find any other jobs but a recruiting consultant.
Recruiting company like Robert Walters, Michael Page and many, they don't require you speak Japanese. Therefore you will find so many Ex-English teacher or ALT if you work in those company. And the turnover rate is extremely high, so the recruiting companies always hiring.
3:30 わっきゃいさんじゃん!!!
This was an interesting video seeing how many diverse jobs foreigners can actually work in Japan. We always see english teaching jobs but I'm glad to see there are many other options too!
there aren't....
yea in the US or my southern california town 93% of people are nurses and that's it your look down on and even ostrozies if you do Something creative this why people here pick boring carrers and end up offing themselves.
FYI, the video uses an incorrect exchange rate of 1USD ≈ 100JPY instead of 1USD ≈ 130JPY, so basically if someone is making 200,000Yen per month, it would be equal to about 1500$ and not 2000$.
It's kinda a big difference here so I think it's worth mentioning.
The conversion between Euro and Dollars was also really wrong in the last example. Lately it's more like 1:1.
Yes finally someone pointed out! Ty
True, but $1 to 100 yen is closer to the historical average
Thats true but for the easiest conversion its easiest to use 100 yen per usd
@@sneezing_panda I mean that's a 1/3 difference. They could just put the numbers into a converter.
Hahaha it's so funny that u also could interview Tobi xD I also love his Videos, as same as i love your Content! Keep going!!!❤🔥

Wow so many people love their jobs and have such interesting paths, good for them!
If I would have been in this video and I would say that I dont like my job my boss would come up to me If he wouldh va eseen this vid... so yeah
@@v4led I was thinking the exact same thing. People in Japan aren't going to admit to hating their job and risk someone seeing it.
@@maroons3311 or they could also just be honest.
There's a chance that people who might not be enjoying their jobs are not spending their time in a park.
It's a limited pool of people can't really make an objective assumption without it being very flawed. You'll just end up with generalizing and stereotyping.
@@zhixci958 Yes, they could be being honest. Knowing how respectful most Japanese people are I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't want to put their place of employment on blast if they weren't completely happy. Going to the park has nothing to do with loving or hating your profession. Either way it's not that serious. Have a blessed day👍🏾.
The people who hate their jobs most likely refused to answer questions about it, majority of people are not going to be enjoying what they are doing.
Very genuinely interesting, honestly.
Video's like this make me consider Japan awesome
Might be a bit late, but what are some resources I can find for getting an international job in Japan? I've wanted to live there for some time now.
I feel like you really, really, really want to meet an interior designer!
When I first moved to Japan my starting salary as a Tax Consultant was 3.2M YEN per year, roughly 25K USD.
While it was not a lot compared to a starting salary in the US, ironically per month I had more money saved than I would in the US. My rent was about 400$ per month compared to the US where average rent is between $1500 ~ 1800.
After I left Japan, my salary went to 90 ~ 100K in the US. Roughly 12M YEN. u
Unfortunately, after taxes and rent it's basically a 60K salary.
One thing they didn't point out in the video is although people don't get paid a lot. Food, entertainment, rent is a lot more affordable than in the US.
Would rather be living in Japan tbh.
I like your video!!
Please what songs are you listening to Part3🎵
Wakuya is the Japanese influencer

"I wanted to be a doctor, but I am terrible at maths so I decided to do politics"
Most strange answer ever heard
College entrance exams for MD requires a lot of math, unless your parents have a lot of money to pay a private institution
The same expression on my pic when I heard that lol
Less math in poli sci/business majors.
She’s british, she couldn’t do maths A levels but you kinda need maths A levels to get into med school
That's actually reaaaally common when it comes to Law/International relations/Politics from my experience, in various EU countries ...
I was so surprised to see him here 😂😂
I like how the second person is casually drinking alcohol while chilling at the park
Perfectly legal in Japan ahah
Hey man rly liked ur vid and I live in japan too and I want to move away from the current type of videos I make which are games. So where were u which park is that cuz I want to meet some foreigners man and make some vids
Your camera work is very good you should include affiliate link, many people are curious to know what camera and what lenses you are using. Into was awesome.
Lmao I was so shocked when Tobias came on lmao
channel of the comedian japanese !
Great video. This would be my reference as a Mechanical Engineer planning to work in Japan.
I just subscribed to this channel weeks ago... Its fun to watch and see how people on japan enjoy living on japan.
I wish to live there someday work as teacher.
I'm definitely not the only one when he says "Are you CZcamsr" Chris Board just appears in my head
Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
Wie Tobi einfach im Video ist 😂✌🏽 Grüße gehen raus 🙌🏼

pretty solid idea bro
As an african im starting to get interested in japan
Ohh i forgot the south is that what you want me to say?🤷
This looks fun. 🤣
Are those salaries gross or net? And if net what is included in the cut (taxes, health insurance, unemployment insurance)? For example in Switzerland I pay the taxes separately at the end of the year (about 1.5x monthly salary)
