    That Hexgrid is really cool. Just great ingenuity by 5.11. Takes PALS webbing to a whole new level. I wish they put it on the sides of the packs, for bottle bags to angle them forward...

    I Love how easy this czcams.com/users/postUgkxvAj3godqGAIP5rApM1laH767JGtPG1-h carrier is to adjust from my friend to me taking turns holding the baby! It provides great support on my back too! This has definitely made shopping easier! I always get asked where I get it too!

    I appreciate your videos and think you give great reviews. I'm glad you said good stuff about the hex grid. I watched several Shot Show reviews and now yours. On camera i feel like it looks cheap. Big fan of 5.11 gear but I was definitely skeptical about the integrity of the grid. Also IMO the if the 5.11 MOAB 10 sling pack, and Covert 18 had a bag baby it would be my dreams coming to reality. Moab 10 is easily my favorite.... just wish it had the covert more grayman style look. Also your beard is glorious. Thanks for your reviews, seriously helps when you don't have a lot of stores that carry this stuff and you have to order a lot online.

    Could you run an axe behind one of the pouches on the AMP 24? It would be attached between the straps holding the pouch and surely the Velcro would add security

    How long will the Hook and Loop Velcro last? Will it wear out quickly? I just bought this bag and am trying to figure out the best way to protect it. I am thinking of making another sheet of double sided velcro, and sticking that on top of the base layer. So when that wears out, I can replace it.

    Really great and honest review of the gear. I'm impressed with the storage and organization capabilities of the 24 pack. I don't live anywhere close to go hiking so I am leaning towards a smaller EDC pack and honestly, for a better price and personally, a better product, both organizationally and customizability, I would rather go with the Katarra from Vanquest. I've been eyeing that pack as my EDC pack and I still think it's my best option for storage and possibly off-body carry.

      I would just double check the dimensions and wouldn’t stack it too high on that back Molly panel and you should probably be good with the 24 for flights. As to Edc unless you have a lot of gear for Edc and it’s probably gonna be too big and got a find a lot of dead space in the bag.

    • @vonsprague7913
      @vonsprague7913 Před 4 lety +1

      @@slashnagy6 any plastic type sheeting with eventually become more brittle and tear with use or sag. I love the quality of 5.11 gear but the RUSH series with it's cordura molle is bombproof. I have 3 24's and 2 72's in different colours with different load outs. I add and subtract pouches, ponchos, axes, etc to the outside of them depending on my activity and they perform extremely well. I can cut the stitching between molle loops to allow for a shovel or axe handle too. This is in my opinion just an attempt to create the latest "must have" to sell more packs, which let's face it is the object of the company. If people want them that's cool, if they replace all the molle to this I'll take my business elsewhere. I never thought you were arguing, we can disagree but be respectful.
