Welcome to arguably the daftest video of the year so far...The Boris Johnson Daily Diet Challenge!
I read an online article detailing BoJo's daily eating schedule
(www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2008/may/25/foodanddrink.boris) and thought it might be a bit of a laugh to give it a bash!
All supposed to be taken in good fun, so let's not descend into heated political debate in the comments, we get enough of that on the news ;)
I've already read a great many comments from people saying they're unsubscribing; and to those people I'd like to say that if that is the case, I'd like to thank you for your support of the channel. It really means a lot to me. But truthfully, there's nothing 'political' about the video at all.
It's all a bit of light hearted levity, poking a bit of harmless fun at a rather eccentric public figure and ultimately...Just flippin' eating his daily diet! That's it! Really no need to read anything more into it...Life is serious enough, let's try to transcend it with a bit of a laugh eh?
If that's not your jam, then so be it. I don't let politics impact my social interactions with other human beings. That's just me.

You'll understand why he eats a light meal in the evening after you cross the 40-year mark. My dad used to say the same thing.wait till you see what your stomach feels like after you're 40 and you're trying to go to bed with a full stomach.
Absolutely correct. My stomach's work day ends at 5 pm. It will not accept any new customers after hours now!
You wouldn't have that problem if you have a proper diet. Unfortunately due to the food industry, you actually have to do a lot of research and calculations to get a proper healthy diet.
Also it doesn't help that his diet is essentially made out of sugar.

That’s one heck of a slice given it looks like a quarter to everyone else.

@@Beardmeatsfood Admittedly I despise wine myself (I hate the flavor of alcohol,) but I think wine should not taste like vinegar unless something has gone wrong with the fermentation/storage... Fruit vinegar is what you get when wine goes bad!

Mars bars were first made in 1932, and Double Decker bars were invented in 1976. Also, Double-Deckers are coffee flavoured. I believe Mars bars were bigger years ago too!

I don't know why some people use the ridiculous "cross-ont" or "croh-sarnt", it sounds like they're worried they have something stuck in their teeth so don't want to move their mouth move too much.
Not sure if you're french or English but if you're french then I have to say it's just because here we're all very embarrassed about everything and don't want to stand out, so we'll just pronounce it however everyone else does even if we know it's wrong.

A restaurant somewhere needs to make a food challenge called, “Beard can’t beat me”, 2 40oz medium steaks, 4lbs of vegetables, 4 lbs of fries and a dessert of your choice. Then if he beats it, it gets renamed to, “Beard beat me”
That would be great, but I don't know if that is even possible. I mean, think of it. That's over 21 pounds of food. Someone would actually die doing that. It's not fun if the challenge doesn't even SEEM possible, y'know? That would be like saying "I AM GOING TO JUMP OFF THIS CLIFF UNTIL I CAN FLY ON MY OWN". It's just impossible and obviously a bad idea.

People tend to be less active later on in the day so switching lunch and dinner is ment to be a bit better for you. Eat big for breakfast and lunch then eat small at night

The reason your wine tastes like vinegar is probably because you haven't let it breathe. Either open the bottle a couple of hours ahead of when you want to drink it or whisk it for five minutes to aerate it.
The flavour of the wine also depends on the grape and with cabernet sauvignon some producers oak age it which smoothes out the flavour nicely.
Also, Diet Coke is not one of the classic food pairings for merlot..
