A young Lady like Lucy was, when she sung this old fashion song astonished me with this great maturness she has presented it in a smooth soft lovely tone....Lucy is really a 'wigan wonder', no a 'lovely world wonder' for the benefit mankind!
She's now only 19 y.o. , her singing future will definitely be great and marvellous

One of my favorites! But it is so hard to pick because I have so many, Lucy is extraordinary!
I see from a quick search you did a number of reactions to "All By Myself" some time ago Lucy has her own cover a couple of years ago and if you want to hear a masterclass in how to belt properly and safely It's a must listen.
This is a very good example of the versatility of Lucy Thomas. You don’t need to place her in a single box or genre, she excels right across the board. Jazz: At Last, Rock Ballad: I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing, Movie Themes: My Heart Will Go On, A million Dreams, Never Enough, Tightrope, Writing’s On The Wall; Musical Theatre, Someone Like You, Broken Dreams, She Used ToBe Mine; Christian: Pie Jesu, Mary Did You Know, The Prayer; Pop: A Thousand Years, Someone You Loved etc etc. there is literally nothing she can’t sing but more importantly she can sing all of this better than anyone else can. Oh, and this is just a brief list as I am sure you are aware Dazza! Finally for something completely different, try 10000 Hours. Quirky and a brilliant piece of vocalisation.

la vie en rose is a French expression meaning that we see the world in pink, like in Barbie's world. everything is beautiful, innocent and pure. This is one of Edith Piaf's best-known songs. I think Lucy is doing a cover of Louis Armstrong cover in English.

My personal favourite the voice the arrangement and performance with those baby blues staring at you through the camera and spectacular finish. That is how you sell a song. La Ve En Rose the English equivalent would be rose colored glasses.
I would love to have you listen to "She Used To Be Mine". I can't remember if she was 14 or 15, but it is one of my very favorites of hers.

Ros a confused me at first but edith piaf sang it that way and there is a video of a lady who does a pronunciation exercise for the song, verbally pronounces rose then sings it as rosa. So who knows 😂
Adding the extra syllable in rose is simply a way to fit the melody, not normal French pronunciation.
