Hey Dazza...I really appreciate your Lucy appreciation week. Your reaction is always genuine and entertaining. Lucy is absolutely super talented. Just incredible beyond words. Possibly the best young vocalist on the planet today. It is almost hard to believe that at her age here she was able to hit this very challenging song out of the park. Amazing! She is a blazing Star yet to be discovered by the sleeping mainstream media.
Hi ya Dazza - fantastic reaction - this is my favourite Lucy performance. It has special meaning to me and brings me to tears every time I watch it since the loss of my wife in July 2020. However, it is SO good, I can't NOT watch it over and over again. Thank you so much for adding this to your list on Lucy appreciation 'week'. This one will be hard to top but there are so many performances by Lucy, I know any one you select next will be great. Until the next one ... stay safe and healthy!
Yet another great song, and another Lucy song better than the original. Wait for it - yes,,, 5:35 BLOWN AWAY, literally! Others can belt too, but the difference in Lucy’s belt is she sings them - the tones, the note changes, the emotion, the vibrato, the breath control, the power. All and only that’s require, effortlessly. Then the spine tingling chills to go with it that stand your hairs on end. That’s the difference!

Good morning DAZZA WOW !!!! I open You Tube and first and second on the videos are TWO Lucy reactions, yours here and LucieV with Lucy and Martha MARY DID YOU KNOW !!! Lucie reactions are getting more popular now and yes in ALL BY MYSELF Lucy certainly has the REACH WITHOUT THE SCREECH as one other Lucy fan describes her talent. With the amount of songs Lucy has you could do one a day for two MONTHS and not run out. !!!! Heck Layman has about 70 of Lucy songs on his playlist he has reacted to..... thanks for the reaction and I do not believe Lucy or Cavendish have any restriction on how many songs you react to !!!
You can tell when Lucy is in the zone, when she really starts moving to the music.
She is definately does incredible voice that power strengh does the totallty amazing voice.

Hello Dazza, I am so glad you put this song on your list, this my Lucy Thomas favorite of all time , how can anybody sing this song like she does from her low voice at the begining to her amazing high voice at the end. She is absolutely amazing what a Superstar there is nobody who is any better. Take care, Barbara.

Totally agree with you Barbara, originally I didn't have a favourite, because I love all her songs, but the more I listen to this the more I love it,this song probably demonstrates the full range of Lucy's incredible tone from low notes to high, breath control, she captures your attention from the start as always, and touches your heart and soul, no one can get near Lucy's performance level
I grew up with Eric Carmen version but this just blows me away.

Yes , the lyrics are from Eric Carmen , but the Melodie is from a classical music composer : Rachmaninoff. ( Eric was sued for the copyrights and loose the trial. He had to share the benefits with the composer.)

Possibly the best rendition of a song that I’ve ever heard. And those eyes- reminds me of what I noticed in Mariah Carey the 1st time I saw her sing Vision Of Love.

There are 100's of covers for this song. Lucy did a great job. Dimash fans would argue about who did it best. I prefer the Eric Carmen original. All subjective. Does Lucy have ANY songs that she rearranges, or, does she just cover songs like the popular version goes?
@@murtheblur Do you only heckle or do you actually engage in replies!? If you ask questions then return for the replies. If you honestly prefer Eric Carmen and Dimash that’s fine. Enjoy the music and it is good they have fans too. Eric Carmen and Dimash are men so won’t sound the same as a woman, well Dimash might. 😆 I liked Eric and Celine versions but they are a little flat compared to Lucy. Dimash adds a lot and is interesting to listen once, but I can listen Lucy’s a million times and enjoy each time. Lucy makes me want to sing along and inspires, but each to their own. At least - I hope you are actually listening and going to listen the full song on Lucy’s channel before you comment. 🤔 I recall Dazza was sceptical but now he’s a fan. Sad if you miss out, because Lucy is actually great. But that would be your loss.

Not everybody actually wants a song completely screwed up without flow and fumbled through with mistakes unknown, and most people prefer a catchy good flowing tune, to get motived too and sing along. Strange that some spend their time touring on Lucy posts, if they don’t enjoy her singing. Probably because their preferred singers obviously aren’t as good as Lucy. But glad to have you on board the Lucy journey. Catch you on the next one. 😉
