Cliff, you are an amazingly honest guy and I very much respect your offers of help to those who may be struggling to"keep above water" at this moment. I too am a big fan of these gifted girls( and now mum). At times when I get low, I know that when I listen to Lucy and Martha, I bounce back and thank the Lord for them. Cliff, I just watched this again with you and it wiped me out. After the swelling orchestral opening, as soon as Lucy began I was a basket case. Not to diminish the others but when this came back around to Lucy I could really tell how rich and smooth her voice is. Plus, as you mentioned the personal setting here of the family (all smiling BTW) makes this a very pleasing performance. 😂

Cliff, I understand the longing to have that kind of relationship. I had two older sisters, and while we weren't on the same level, sibling harmonies are just the best and from my age of 5 and my sisters who were 5 and 9 years older at 10 and 14 we sang the old doo-wop era songs and also church music. Those were, for me, the best times. I was unaware of the troubles happening in our household.
So this type of singing holds a special place in my heart. For me those years, those times have become almost mythological for me. They exist in a place where reality doesn't get to. Whatever else has happened over the last 50+ years those memories stay alive and sweet to me when I think of them. Thanks for reacting to these beautiful women with beautiful voices.

I agree, this should be much longer, I was so into watching them interact with each other, and how beautiful that was, the video ended and I though for a moment, what happened? I would really like more of that. It is clear where Lucy and Matha got their singing genes.

After watching this song so many times it dawned on me that their mother Louise did this song for the girls, to support them and her singing was beautiful but reserved, not to draw attention away from them, I have heard Louise sing with Lucy on Face book and twitter and yes she can belt out the song but we see here she was controlled and NOT taking away from Lucy and Martha... What a Mom !!!! There are also many photos of Louise with Lucy at various functions supporting her, all I can say is Louise has my respect for supporting her girls !! ! Thanks for the support of the Thomas Cliff you are a class act !!! Giving credit where due !!!

Robin Bendall YES it seems there has been a flood of ne so called reactors using Lucy's music and not a word to support the artist, and I have been on many of them and I will NOT subscribe or like any reactor that will not at least suggest those not subscribed , to go to Lucys channel. Clif here has been a supporter of Lucy and Martha from his first react and he is one of two of the best supporting reactors i watch the other is Bruddah Sam he is also a huge supporter of the Thomas sisters. If you do not know , Lucy is involved since she was 16 , in this musical. She will be the lead role of the musical.
The musical is based on the true life of Rosie Boote, a young , poor, Irish girl growing up in a convent in Ireland, but marrying a powerful English Lord , against the will of the King and English nobility.
This particular song is based on Rosie life in the convent . I am sure you will enjoy , even if you are not,like me, a religious guy
