Fantastic vid. 💯 I almost can't resist ordering one this second. Michigan hopefully allows class 1 trail access this season. The travel dollar is real. Let's go!

I am very heavy rider and I have such ebike with SX motor, and it pushes me into any hill angle slowly if I pedal with high enough cadence. I do not need to push into the pedals at all in Turbo mode. All it needs is high cadence with almost zero power input from my legs. I can even rest on the bike while going up steep hill slowly when my legs are rotating fast enough (70-80rpm) on slow speed gears, because no real power input is needed from my side, only high pedal cadence. So this bike teaches you to gear up and down to keep pedal rpm in higher cadence range for higher power assistance, or to pedal slowly for light assist. If I pedal slowly around 60rpm, it still helps me to ride up less steep hills, the assistance or push strength just increases with my gear, my cadence and motor mode. So it can be very very silent, if you pedal at lower rpm on tough gears on first 3 modes because it helps you only slightly. As you increase the cadence, the motor increases its added power and it depends on the mode (Eco, Tour+, eMTB+, Turbo) how much power it starts adding with higher cadence. You can tune it in your phone bosch App, where you can increase the range and decrease power input from motor for Eco mode (-4, -4), Tour+ mode (-2, -2) and keep eMtb+ mode on default settings and increase power output of Tube mode to +4,+4 for real maximal assistance. Eco and Turbo modes are dumb and predictive : always the same. Tour+ and eMtb+ modes are more clever: they analyze your riding style during trip and change power output behaviour according to your riding (pedalling) style. They try to sense what you need more at that moment based on the mode. So each "+" mode supports something little different. One can aim to give less power if you seem stronger for longer time during long bike trip and than compensate your lesser input slightly if you start to lower your long time rpm (Tour+) and other can give increased immediate power if it thinks you need to be supported that way in hard terrain (dynamical support in eMtb+ mode).
Specialized was the only company until now that did lighter emtbs with mid assist motor. Now with Bosch SX any company can do that ! And with all the clever tuning inApp possibilities born in german brains.

The Bosch sx motor rattle/clunk on the descents over rocky rough terrain is keeping me from buying a Bosch sx motor bike
