- Tried something a little different. Once again I attempted to play some of the odd sound effects and match the album drum sound the best I could. Not an easy task as Yes used big budget producing in that era!

The addition of the effects pushed this cover to a new level. This is freakin' awesome! Sounds great and as always, very well played! You rock, mike
AWESOME sound. Owner of a Lonely Heart is a great song and a lot of fun to play. One of these years I would love to play this song with some drum improvisations and see how it turns out.
Beautiful share my friend, fantastic drum cover, you play beautiful!
Have a wonderful day to you!
Thank you so much! And you as well!

kristine macdougall Glad I could be of help! It always makes me happy to hear someone learned something from my videos! Keep playing Kristine
Really Great song choice, love it! Excellent drumming!
This was on my 'to do' list for quite a while...but after seeing you play it, I'll just listen to yours instead. Perfect playing bro. The sound effects matched the song perfectly and a great idea to add them. Made it look effortless Mikey, even though I know how hard it is to get the sound effect timing in step with the rest of the song and not lose the feel!! Cheerio!!
TDRolandTD by Pauly G Thanks Paula! Sorry to get there first ;) there's always room for more versions on YT. Bust it out!
Fantastic ,, the beat is amazing you are a champ
Brilliant stuff - one of my all time fav tracks.
Some I copied from the module the best I could. Others were already in the track and I simply played over them! Thanks for watching
Fabulous
Best cover I've seen. Good job!

Colin Eksteen Thanks Colin. This one was a little different from my normal genre but I thought it was interesting enough
Cool cover of a classic 80's tune!! Sounds excellent!! Played to perfection!!
Zax Drum Covers thank you Zax! It's a little different for my style but I couldn't resist trying to get that spacey sound
Wow, very good mix and what a tight groove, man. Love that song anyway.
YES! ;)
I like how you do your video editing. I don't know exactly how to describe the effects but they always seem appropriate and enhance the overall viewing experience! Enjoyed it man! 👍
Great piece of work, not much else to add. Thumb-up!

Impressive cover, sir! May I just ask, how do you get all of the effects in the song?

fucking perfect. I have to show this to my dad now
Spoodermen Produktionz thanks man. Hope he likes it:)
Freaking cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tickdog3 Thanks from one dog to another
Just out of curiosity, Do you use 2 drum modules for all of those pads or does that one module facilitate all pads? I have a Roland TD25-KV and I need more cymbals but no room left. I am tempted to buy a TD-11 just for cymbals and run it through a channel on my board.
tickdog3 I use every input from the TD-20. 15 in total including the kick and both hi-hat inputs. There are some other V drummers on CZcams like (tdrolandtd) who use more modules. I am happy with the size of my kit as I can use the pd-7 and pd-9 for additional toms or cymbals or percussion/effects and even the rims of the 12" toms without getting too cluttered!
Great cover. The only thing I didn´t like that much was the drum intermezzo right before the guitar solo starts. That one could be done much better.
if you could try Bad Boys Blue "Pretty Young Girls" drum cover
Drummers, are always underrated. Can't compete with the egotistic lip stick "front man"
How do you keep your cymbal pads looking so good?
Dave Sharon why I play them a lot! And occasionally I wipe them off ;) Damn, now I let the secret out!!
Thank you, sir!
