This general design should really be the blueprint of bike/scooter/motorcycle chimeras. It's light, cheap, sturdy and very modular, I think machines like this could quite easily cover most urban commuting needs.
all e scooters and e bikes should give the option to remove the battery very fast so you can put a fully charged extra battery that you could carry in your backpack !
That just goes to show how how important a large capacity battery is in e-bikes. It allows a single motor to perform better than when it is operating on a smaller capacity battery. And when you add in a front hub too then we’re talking about questioning as to why should you get a mid drive again. Think about that a relatively small motor of 500 watts w/ an unquestionably small 350 up front and you get speed like this?! Nice!
Just got mine. Thing is very fun and cool. Lil pocket rcoket with a lil footprint. There are pretty well known issues that can occur. For me, mine arrived functional and intact but with signifgant tire wobble. This is common and attributed to the tubes and tire not being seated properly at the factory. Will be taking it to my local bike shop to remedy this and make sure the brakes are working optimally and a general safety once over. Seat is hard feeling but I haven't gotten sore yet. I have an ebike with a cloud 9 seat and Suntour suspension post and my ass will be a tad sore after a 10 mile ride. More testing will ensue. As far as seat comfort it comes down to the individual. If you are young with a bunch of junk in the trunk you probably will be fine. But if you are an older male you might find it a bit harsh on long rides. Can't wait to start customizing it and making it mine.
I've had mine for 3 weeks 87 miles on it it's been awesome I've used it to play disc golf several times it's done great through the woods..! And I fly up the road it's awesome I'm rough on it and it's holding up well

It looks very sketchy and it's risky to just have the keys dangling like that. 5) Triangular CARGO BAG that can fill in that empty space above battery.

Probably don't have to have licenses like a 49cc scooter some states require you to have a motoeycle endorment with 49cc because they don't have pedals like a moped and they think that makes them a motorcycle
Biggest problem I see is a complete lack of storage. No easy way to add a rear rack that still allows removal of the battery, or a front rack that doesn't weigh down the steering. Also, I don't understand why the fenders don't cover more of the tires to reduce debris/water being sprayed onto the battery. Also strange that the handlebar can fold, but the foot pegs do not.
The storage for a vehicle like this is a strange accessory called a "backpack", but no, seriously it would be nice to have a rack on it. I also thought it was odd the pegs didn't fold up. It's not like that would have been tricky to do, since basically every motorbike has folding pegs.
@@NoobixCube Yep. And look at the 1:38 mark, with all the wet grass stuck on the frame. Completely avoidable with a better fender design. Does your one do that and if so how can it be avoided? Thank you and appreciate your response.
balance shouldn't be an issue on a 2 wheelers , provided geometry is not too extreme. maybe you talking about stability in corners ? then short wheelbase and small wheels is not the best. Or you you may refer to grip..then yes more weight on the front means usually more grip in the corners and less likely to lose the front. race bikes put the rider's weight on the front. but also more unsprung weight means more sensitive to bumps...overall handling depends on a lot of different factors, but this is just a fast commuter, not something you should push to the limits in corners anyway
i tested the 1.0 version, it goes to 28mph. you don't want to go faster, nor do you want to turn at these speeds given the bikes small wheel base, it's not stable turning. also , it's too small, and rear suspension doesn't exist. so it looks like a toy, it is dimunitive. make it a little bigger, and longer wheelbase. if you want it to store/park easily, make it have one folding pivot and give the rear suspension. then you have a decent miniscooter, and if you make the seat big enough for 2 riders, you will have a lot of people buying it.
