Is it a scooter… Is it a bike… No, it’s the EMOVE RoadRunner. Powerful dual motors that are of different sizes (an industry first), mammoth 14-inch tires, a large memory foam seat, adjustable MTB fork suspension, and a removable battery pack join forces to produce a ride unlike anything we’ve tested before.
The product of three rounds of rigorous testing and iterations, the RoadRunner is the summation of all that is great about the EMOVE brand: durable design, fantastic range, respectable speed, and an eye for the unconventional. Just don’t let anyone else try it - there’s a strong chance you won’t get it back.
The RoadRunner isn’t perfect - few scooters are. Things can get quite bumpy due to its limited suspension, while the seat may leave your buttocks feeling a little bruised after long rides. But these are trifling concerns in the grand scheme of things. EMOVE is shaking up the scooter world with this model, and I’m more than happy to come along for the ride.

    I love my RR.
I’ve just got about 260 miles on it and so far so good.
The zippy ness and unique form and fun factor are off the charts. Carving and handling is just so fun. You can swivel your hips almost like you are skiing slalom style.
I’m on a few facebook groups and there are some common issues that can occur.
Battery can have seating issues that require tweaking or getting another battery mount from Voro Motors
Tires and tubes will need to be re-seated. Stock you will likely find that they will wobble at higher RPM’s. Myself I took it to the bike shop to handle this and do a safety once over and have the brakes set optimally.
The adjustable handle bar stem is questionable quality and can strip. I myself replaced both the stem and handlebars with ones I preferred.
I was almost certain that I would want to upgrade the seat. People are doing upgrades that range from foam pads that you put over the stock seat to re-upholstering the seat to the installation of springs between the seat and frame. After actually riding I don’t feel compelled to do any seat customization. I have two electric vehicles. RR and a folding fat tire ebike which I have a cloud 9 seat and very nice suspension seatpost. The seating situation on my ebike is about as comfortable as you can make an ebike seat. My usual ride is around 12 miles. I know this won’t make much sense but… though the ride is arguably more comfortable on my optimized ebike, the post-ride ass soreness is greater. So basically it’s more bumpy on my RR but my ass is less sore at the end of the ride. I’m fine with it.
This thing can go fast enough to get you into trouble. If you hit a decent pot hole at speed you will have a bad time.
Screen is kinda hard to see in the daylight but tbh controls are so simple. And yes this has speed when in dual motor mode but if you after a more chill cruising experience just put it in single motor speed and save on battery and you will cruise at around Fiido Qi’s speeds.
I don’t say any of the above to deter you from the . I am so happy with my purchase

Thanks for your input. I'm trying to decide whether to buy this or the NIU KQi3 Max, which is also 48v but at a much lower price. Quality / Longevity my biggest concern. The KQi3 Max has a 2 year warranty, they've built over 3 million electric vehicles, the build quality is superb, and they will be on sale for 800 again in about a week. Despite the price difference, I would still probably expect the NIU to outlive the Roadrunner; however on the contrary, the Roadrunner is probably easier to DIY some things that could go wrong during it's lifespan. The $1495 price point they've lowered it too makes it a bit appealing -- especially in regards to top speed, since I may need to take either on some 30-mile round trip winter voyages; however with the Roadrunner, it would be harder to store away once I get to where I'm going. Most evehicles out there, regardless of price point, seem to deteriorate at a pretty steep rate, and that's a bit more of an issue when considering an 800 dollar investment vs the 1500 dollar one. With taxes, that's close enough to twice the money. I'd prefer the Roadrunner but I'm a little confused as to whether or not I should make the investment vs the pro's that strike me about the Niu. And, obviously I would much rather be on the RR, because even though it's toy-y, it's still motorcycle-y, whereas a standup scooter really is a journey through nerdtown.

@@8_x_9. First you move your body inwards, and when body-inside-leaning gets too uncomfortable, you start leaning the vehicle too... This way, before you start leaning the vehicle, you already have the maximal centripetal force your bodyweight can guarantee, without compromising the tyres´ contact-patch. After you start leaning the vehicle, you have to be extra-cautious, as always, cause the tyres´ contact-patch becomes increasingly smaller, providing less traction.

What a bad review...this scooter not even worth a $1000! For the price it should at least have dual 750w motors, some sort of rear suspension and better hydraulic brakes. Those X-tech semi hydraulic calipers cost less than $40 on amazon. The display is crap and its insane that they're asking $500 for that battery pack with cheap Chinese cells. Higher capacity using lg or samsung cells would cost less.
