Colors aside, I got the same configuration with the same purpose in mind: road trips! I did get mine before Unlimited Free Supercharging was discontinued. With covid making the rounds, I haven’t hit the road the way I’d hoped to. I put lots of travel plans on hold. However, I did take it on a little 750-mile jaunt last week, and the car proved itself. I also live out in the country, and I do need a long range car, not a “city car”. 400 EPA miles, though… That’s maybe 340-350 real miles at highway cruising speed, and I think that will actually be Just Fine for my needs. I don’t see myself trading up to a 500-mile car, even when they become available.
Glad you are back into a Tesla for your daily driver. Glad the range is where you expect it to be. Thanks for detailing the delivery experience.

I bough a Model 3 one week ago and picked it up two days ago. Brad new from Tesla Norway. Here in Norway they don't do express or touchless delivery or anything like showed in this video. It was as usual, we go into the delivery room and take delivery with one employee from Tesla Delivery Team, and go thru the cars functions. Nobody had mask either.

@@willowcairns Fully loaded Accord is about $33,000 give or take, his car is $83,000 so damn near triple. The best part is his "more premium" Tesla doesn't even have ventilated front seats but the Accord does. 🤷♂️😂

I had the "touchless delivery" experience too. Mine was super quick and they didn't even check my drivers license. I just gave them my name, they had me sign for it, gave me the key cards, and sent me on my way. I guess the don't have problems with people trying to steel cars... I would imagine you wouldn't get too far if you somehow managed to pull it off. They would just remotely disable it and come get it.
Is it stealing if they give you the keys?

@@aegontargaryen597 less expensive?? It starts at 139,990$. I could get 2 Lucid Airs for that price. It may have more range and power, but when it comes to premium feeling, I don’t think the interior can match the Air. Tesla has had very bad interior for the price they sell at.
@@aegontargaryen597 Yeah but you can still buy 2x his current new Tesla for the same money as 1 Plaid Model S so just park the second Tesla Model S 350 miles up the road then with your two Tesla's you can get over 700 miles of range!
@@jivewig don't get me wrong, but Lucid don't even have any car in production, they have only 2 ones which are just prototypes. VW ID 3 also was said to be better for quality, but it is almost a bunch of plastic. Tesla already have better interior than many other EV makers. No one can say anything about Lucid exactly, but also the software updates and supercharges are also upsides of Tesla

he said that's what he's gonna do next year when it comes out
The Plaid Edition Model S will not be out until late 2021 for the 2022 model year, however Dan said that he plans to get one when it comes out, to which I wish him the best of luck.

They should just give you free supercharging for life on all your purchases with that many referrals. I just picked up my 3rd Tesla and specifically got a 2016.5 S 75d that has the free supercharging. My first 85d had it and my Model 3 did not. It's not necessary a necessity because charging is not expensive at all but knowing i can literally jump in my car and drive anywhere with out paying anything at all is pretty awesome.

Model S plaid is there on the website with 520+ miles range, just in case you were looking for a better range tesla! However, the price tag is around 140k as far as i remember!
