I have 38,000 miles on my Model Y, I changed my own filters. So zero service calls. I have those Seatbelt holders.. they are very helpful when you drop the back seats and put them back up. the seat belt stays in a good place, and for passengers, it makes it easier to find the seatbelts. I highly recommend them.. they are only a couple of dollars on Ali Express. I had an early build Model S and it was an adventure, back then Tesla was super accommodating, they would take the car in for squeaks and creaks and they would fix it for free. Luckily where I live the Service manager came from mercedes and he wants his service department to be run like a luxury center. He has a bay for detailing new cars which should be at all service centers. Our Model Y has been perfect, I think that I could flip it and not lose any money by getting a new one, but I will keep mine, I have ppf on the whole car, and I plan on keeping it for a long time (I sold my P85 model S at 121,000 miles and checked in with the people that bought it.. they wound up getting a Model y and a new model X eventually) I can't imagine having a gas car

Great video! It’s great watching you both and your Tesla experience. I have a 2018 Model S 100D. I live in California and here they have a charging network called EVCS. They offer a subscription based charging or charge as you go. I drive many miles so I opted for the unlimited charging at anytime which is $199/ month. This network is only available in California, Oregon and Washington. It’s a huge savings for me. I only use Tesla chargers in an emergency because I have the EVCS subscription. The only downside to EVCS, at most locations in California, is the they are only 50kwh of power which takes me about an hour and 15 minutes to charge from 20-80%. I don’t mind because I’m saving tons on electric costs.

  • @josealbertoespinozamolina3522

I got my Tesla model Y December so I also have those 6 months free supercharging that are very helpful, so far I like the driving the car is fast, I love that we get all the updates as well but I something that has been a pain are the rattle noises, there are multiple noises coming from the back of the car specially in city streets ( I am from Vegas as well) I took the car already 3 times to the service center, they fixed the noise and 2-3 days after another noise, right now my seat makes a squeak noise when turning and there are 3 rattles one now coming from the front near the speaker, one from the second row seat and the last one from the lift gate, I also had a Honda civic before this car and never had any issues like that, so far that is my only negative experience with the Tesla, for a car almost 50K that shouldn’t be an issue

All these Honest reviews leave out the Honest real cost. You never save any money no matter what gas/electric brake down charts shown.
The purchase price alone will usally absorb any fuel savings being EV cars on average cost 20% more to purchase than its ICE equivalent.
Insurance cost is typically 3X the cost over its ICE equivalent.
That's the hidden cost even after all incentives it still cost more to own.

Hybrid? Meh only point of that is saving a little bit on gas, comes with all the crap of a gas car & none of the perks of a full electric 🤷, no epic boot space, no over the air updates, has to be serviced for gas car stuff, sorry but i dont see any good coming from hybrids lol

@@iLuvCosmetics2 the in-car nav will tell you when & how long to charge, to make to next charger on route (or destination.) It usually takes 10-20mins to get a good amount of charge, enough to go like 100-200miles more until next charger. As they mentioned, since you often have to stop for bathroom or food/stretch break by that amount of driving anyway, it is really NO time lost since you just plug in , walk away and do whatever you need to, then app dings you when almost done so you know to start coming back to car.
Unlike gas cars where you really have to sit and hold the gas nozzle for several minutes, maybe go in and pay, THEN walk to bathroom, etc.
After ~8k roadtrip miles so far, I've only had to wait for car handful of times, and often that is at end of trip.. I could have planned better by getting takeout and eat in car to save time, etc... but also many times I had free overnight charging at hotel w/ level2 charger, so evens out a bit.
It is a bit of mindset change, but it ends up working very nicely, the charge stops/breaks plus free AutoPilot helping drive the car on highway, means even after full day of driving, you are NOT very tired at all, especially compared to gas car!
