If the setting for the dancing looks virtually identical between Bad and Fat, its because it is actually the same place, the same real-world subway station. When Weird Al asked Michael Jackson if he would give approval for Weird Al's parody, Michael didn't just say yes, he gave Weird Al the address to the station he recorded Bad at, so Weird Al could make the parody as close and good as possible to Bad as possible. 4:25 what did he just call me?
Just perfect. Thank you guy!
“Mom can we get the new song called _I’m Bad_ ?”
Mom: “No son, we already have _I’m Bad_ at home.”
_I’m Bad_ at home:
funfact Michael Jackson didn’t only approve this parody, he even gave Weird al Yankovic the actual address of the subway station where he filmed “bad” so it could look as real as possible, it proved Michael’s humor was ahead of what they called humor back in the 80’s
thats cool
Brilliant piece of editing!😃
Thanks!
Michael Jackson: my friends dancing
Weird Al: me dancing
A lot of that choreography was the same.
"I've got more chins than Chinatown"
HAHAHAHAHAHA! Dear Lord I just can't!
You lined this up well. It almost seemed like Michael was singing Al's lines.
Thank you for doing this... my life is now complete.
You're very welcome!
5:03 what I think of this video
Haha! Thanks!
Amazing! The King of Pop and the King of Parody.
Your butt is wide, well mine is too
Just watch your mouth or I'll sit on you
The word is out, better treat me right
'Cause I'm the king of cellulite
Ham on, ham on, ham on whole wheat, all right
My zippers bust, my buckles break
I'm too much man for you to take
The pavement cracks when I fall down
I've got more chins than Chinatown
Well, I've never used a phone booth
And I've never seen my toes
When I'm goin' to the movies
I take up seven rows
Because I'm fat, I'm fat, sha mone
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, come on you know
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
Don't you call me pudgy, portly or stout
Just now tell me once again who's fat
When I walk out to get my mail
It measures on the Richter scale
Down at the beach I'm a lucky man
I'm the only one who gets a tan
If I have one more pie a la mode
I'm gonna need my own zip code
When you're only having seconds
I'm a' having twenty-thirds
When I go to get my shoes shined
I gotta take their word
Because I'm fat, I'm fat, sha mone
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it you know
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
And my shadow weighs a' forty-two pounds
Lemme tell you once again who's fat
If you see me comin' your way
Better give me plenty space
If I tell you that I'm hungry
Then won't you feed my face
Because I'm fat, I'm fat, sha mone
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it, you know
(Fat, fat, really really fat.)
When I sit around the house
I really sit around the house
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, sha mone
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it, you know it
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know, you know, you know, come on
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
And you know all by myself I'm a crowd
Lemme tell you once again
You know I'm huge, I'm fat, you know it
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, you know, woo
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
You know I'm fat, I'm fat, you know it, you know
(Fat, fat, really really fat)
And the whole world knows I'm fat and I'm proud
Just tell me once again who's fat
Thanks god
Watching it side by side like this makes the weird Al video that much better LOL
The chicken that flies out at 4:53 🤣
This video needs more traction!
Thanks!
"I've got more chins ...than Chinatown" made me laugh so hard. Stupid and racist but good.
Back when people had a sense of humor and could laugh, without being offended by everything under the sun.
detsportsfan18 sadly today this song would get ripped by fat acceptance de’kuts
Product of the time
Funny, yes. Racist, no.
@@chrisflaherty8991 Explain how it's not....?

‘I’ve got more chins than Chinatown’ Weird Al is brilliant
Watching the Michel Jackson video and listening to weird Al’s version is funny
I thought the funniest part was comparing the two skaters
So many years , still remember this video.
Absolutely loved it thank you :)
Weird Al's attention to detail is proven here. Thanks so much for putting together the side by side video.
I'm glad you enjoy it!
I think it's so cool that MJ was such a good sport and liked Al's parodies so much that he let him use the same location as in the Bad video. I believe the only time he said no to Al parodying one of his songs was for Black or White, MJ felt that song was too important and meaningful to be made fun of, and Al, being the absolute class act that he is, respectfully agreed not to parody the song. I think he also said MJ did him a favor because he didn't want to known as just the guy who does MJ parodies.
These are such a treat! Although I’ve been a lifelong fan of Weord Al, I never watched many of his videos nor the original videos, so I had no idea he was “largely” doing a shot by shot parody of the originals!
*"yo, dingdong man, dingdong, dingdong yo"*
Holy Crap! I LOVE Weird Al's Video EVEN MORE Now! Nicely Done! 👍
This is hilarious, thank you fot posting. Weird Al’s hair takes the cake.
Brilliant edit!
Thank you!
All of that choreography in that suit - next level commitment.
