This is a repost of the podcast originally recorded a few years ago. CZcams recently launched a podcast section on channel pages. Initially, it was not a good idea to post podcast videos on your main channel as it would hurt the analytics. So I created a 2nd channel called The Exotic Pet Collective where the video version of the podcasts were uploaded. I had also been made aware that many of you did not the podcast existed, so I have been systematically taking the podcast down from the 2nd channel and moving them over to this channel. That way, they can all be under the podcast tab on my channel page, and viewers that had never seen or heard them before would be notified of their existence. I apologize for any confusion.

Love this! I've only been keeping ts for 3 years and have kept reptiles for over 13 years. I quickly knew this is what I wanted to do as a career and this is gonna help me out immensely.
One clip that I saw was talking about getting your shorts out to a larger audience. He was talking about when uploading shorts to CZcams turning off notifications for your subscribers. If you leave it on it will send the notifications to your subscribers but if they do not interact with the shorter content then the algorithm doesn’t push the clip out of that pool because it is not performing. If you turn that off then it is pushed to a wider audience of new viewers that will interact with it when they are just scrolling through shorts.

I just recently got into Ts and have fallen in love with it and I was wondering about possibly how I would start a business lol
I love both of you guys and your content and have for a long time now, something I notice and will be talking about in a few upcoming podcasts soon is that lots of people want to do reptiles full time or as a job (who wouldn't right?! They are awesome.) But how many of those people are willing to spend the time learning business and marketing.

"We're not going to have a pandemic every 5 years" 😅 Let's see how that ages. Nice cast. Starting a business usually takes working a full time job for the first several years, really easier to count up how many hours a week you sleep, likely can do it on hands or hands and feet max 😂
