If people could appreciate how much work went into this 10 minutes ❤
thanks so much! I am going to have to film a behind the scenes video on the making of this type of content...lol
This was the first tarantula species I ever got, as I researched they were more docile. Also, yay, new tarantula collective video! Great job and informative as always, Richard
I don't have one curly hair is docile and freindly on hand
@@thedarkhaven5715 My almost adult curly hair has been constantly hiding in its burrow for months. It's also very skittish and immediately retreats to its burrow if I come near the enclosure. Kinda sad
@@thedarkhaven5715 both my golden knees and my curly hairs are fantastic , very docile and great eaters.
My most docile T. I adore her, she is very friendly and curious 🥰
This is currently my only T. It's so docile yet curious.
10 minutes? It felt like it was an hour long. Not because it was boring or anything but because of how much information was squeezed in so kudos to you guys.
Thanks a lot...but it is just me. I wish I had a team of people helping make these videos...that would make it a lot easier....lol.
Absolutely digging the documentary-style! Keep it up Richard, doing amassing work!
Thanks, will do! They are a lot more time intensive to make, but I enjoy them a lot! Feel free to share the video to help me get the word out! The more views these types of videos get, the more I can prioritize them in production!
Yeah I was thinking that. I am loving this kind of content. What a good job you've done. Outstanding!
Everytime I see these member exclusive early releases I say I'm not going to watch until tuesday so I have something to look forward too. Never once have actually made it lol. Thanks for the must see vids Richard.
I always thought this to be a somewhat boring tarantula, but this documentary style video has shown me the true natural beauty of the Grammostola pulchripes!
My chaco just molted last night! So stoked, it's been ages lol.
The beauty of these species is underrated.
This tarantula is my first and it's going te be a juvenile.
These are so well put together. Amazing work! Honestly these should be on TV! Literally looks as good if not better than national geographic documentaries.
Definitely. You've found your calling.
My Chaco Golden knee Tarantula is a third instar sling, she (hopefully🤞) took 5 months to molt and is now a slightly larger fuzzy baby. 💖🕷💛
Beautiful filmmaking, truly an enjoyable mini-doc. 🥰
An amazing video, I felt like I was watching a documentary on National Geographic or Animal Planet. When I bought my Gooty Sapphire last month I was given a Chaco Golden Knee sling for free, and now it sits on my wife's and my desk so we can watch it do its excavating. Once again great video. I hope you do more videos like this one, maybe even on the Gooty Sapphire. 👍
The Gooty is on my short list of species to do in the future! Feel free to share the video to help me get the word out! The more views these types of videos get, the more I can prioritize them in production!
I thought I was watching one till I saw the comment 😂
Great video, Richard! I love my Grammostola pulchripes; it was my first T, which I got as a half inch sling, and now less than four years later is just over five inches. Mine has never flicked hairs, or threat posed me - a true gentle giant.
Love these documentary style videos!
Animal planet/Discovery should give you a show! This was so well done 👍🏻
thanks so much! I am glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to share the video to help me get the word out! The more views these types of videos get, the more I can prioritize them in production!
I like how majestic you make them look, while I know that the spider in my tank is super derpy.
lmao too funny
Probably my favorite species of Tarantula, with L. Parahybana on 2nd.
This was my first t her name is Gaia im so glad she is a she since she was my first amazing vid as always richard!
Beautiful video documentary. I love how you covered all the important information, including conservation. This is one of my all time favorite species. I have two captive bred slings at different sizes. I am looking forward to seeing them grow over the coming years.
Whoa!!!! This is such a gorgeous video!!!!! I'm definitely going to go watch that playlist!!
thanks so much Loquin...I hope you enjoy the other videos like this as well!
I love this. My first Tarantula was a Chaco Gold knee that is now going on 2. Slow growing but such an amazing species. 🥰
I know these style videos require extra effort, but you truly knock it out of the park with these. Another amazing video!
I recently got this as a 1cm sling as my second tarantula and i am so excited to see it develop this color
If you enjoyed this type of video, I have made 3 others you can watch here: czcams.com/play/PLjBrtja7Q8uhos5c0u-GRVIydAnPnNd6t.html

@@leaomathompson2244 Chaco Golden Knee tarantulas make an excellent beginner tarantula 👍🏻
I can’t find a video of Psalmopoeus pulcher. So I thought I would wish for one 😊
Dude, that T is beautiful
This was beautifully done. Loved it!💜
I'm not from Chaco but I am from Argentina, and let me say that the music choice was on point! Very beautiful, it makes me feel nostalgic lol. And what a gorgeous T as well. good job
Thank you so much, that really means a lot to hear!
Very well done and informative. I tried to get my Chaco to watch with me, but she seemed uninterested.
lol
I didn't mention her name, it's ZZ - because she got legs and she knows how to use them.
Great video great show Tarantula. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
My chaco just molted yesterday as adult hahaha. What a timing
This is my favorite "basic" tarantula. I want to keep one so badly. So velvety.
So luv this type of vid that you do Richard they are very interesting and enlightening and what a glorious T
thank you so much! Feel free to share the video to help me get the word out! The more views these types of videos get, the more I can prioritize them in production!
Absolutely awesome!! :D
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love when you do these videos in the documentary style, Richard.
My G. pulchripes is an absolute sweetheart of a tarantula. She always been chill, never a threat poses or hair flicking. She very curious, usually, when I open her enclosure to feed and is usually quick to pounce on prey. I rehoused her about two months ago, and for the last few weeks she stays hidden in her hide and not eating. No biggie, it's what she does at times.
Thank you for all you.
I've got a new one coming out later today!
@@tarantulacollective Great! Can't wait to watch it! Since the pandemic, I've bought a number of T's. I'm also retired so I can enjoy them all the time. I love watching them do weird behaviors like rearranging their enclosures or webbing or watching them scrabble to catch 3 or 4 crickets. They make laugh. Thank you Richard, for all your dedication to this endeavor.
@@lindabriggs5118 it will be out in less than an hour!
@@tarantulacollective Awesome! FYI, I know it's not much, but I joined your Patreon page.

This has to be some of the prettiest footage of a G. pulchripes. You really captured the colors well, nice job.
I’m so glad you made a Chaco golden knee video! I just got one not too long ago, and I absolutely love her
Absolutely stunning documentary. I love how informative it is. Well done indeed! ♥
Nice mini documentary. I'd love to see more on all species of tarantulas. Please make more!
More to come! They take a lot more work and time to put together though. So feel free to share the video to help me get the word out! The more views these types of videos get, the more I can prioritize them in production!
@@tarantulacollective I will do that! Thank you for your hard work! I love these creatures with all my heart and I want to help people understand that they are not bad or dangerous creatures.
Awesome video bromigo you have helped me overcome my fear of tarantulas I really appreciate everything you do now because of you I own 3 T's 4th coming Friday
I love this spider. So far, it's my favorite. I had no intention of getting one, but I decided to throw it in the cart with some spiders I was ordering because it mathematically put me right where I needed to be for a freebie. Over the months following, I began to like it more and more. I've only been keeping T's now for about a month, but so far.. this one is my jam.
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you so much for this Richard. Timing is perfect as I just received a sling on Feb 23/22. She is so sweet
My favourite tarantula. Best T youtuber by far
Ever since I got my arizona blonde this has been my favorite CZcams channel 😁 I recently picked up a pinktoe and this will be the next T I get. I already have a badass enclosure set up for a terrestrial T
Rock on! Thank you
Cheeeers from Argentina! Loving your content Rick!! 🤩🙌🙌🙌
Thank you so much my friend!
this is one of my favourite spiders in my collection and seeing your grown specimens I can't wait for mine to grow. I loved all the background information.
This truly was an enjoyable watch. Some really cool close up footage of the T. Very well put together
The spider's gorgeous! I recently acquired a golden knee spiderling, and I'm even more happy with my choice now.
Absolutely stunning footage. I love being able to see so up close on T's. Mine will sit on the glass and I get within an inch just to get this very close up view... 🤪😆
My juvie G pulchripes is stunning. Great video dude. Enjoyed that!!
Just got a 2+" unsexed juvenile. Feisty little bugger, struck at my paintbrush when I tried moving it into its enclosure with several threat poses thrown in
This was… beautiful. Just a beautiful video all around. What a gorgeous creature. Before I started watching your channel I knew nothing about tarantulas. Now I can’t wait to own one some day. I live in NM, and was told about an annual tarantula migration that happens where a friend of mine lives. I know this happens in other southwest states too. Have you ever/would you ever consider taking a trip to witness the migration and making a video on it? I am going to try and catch it this year when it happens. I think it’s usually more towards the fall.
Usually these "migrations" happen in October in most places! It would be amazing to see 😍
Stunning spider thank you
What lovely spiders! This video is brilliant Richard, total respect 👍👍👍👍👍
Hey man! I love your channel.
I’ve always been afraid of spiders and when I gave my son his first Tarantula in late 2021 ( a Brachypelma Smithi ) I started watching your channel. I’ve learned a lot from you and still learning. I am now searching for my 1st Tarantula 🙂 best regards from north of Sweden
Great job, Richard! Beautifully shot! Love this style!
Never Miss each of ur vids Richard 🔥
thanks my friend!
I have a Chaco Golden Knee Tarantula which i misindentified a Common Puerto Rican Brown Tarantula. But this is making me learn what thier lifestyle is.
once again another amazing video
thank you Manny! Feel free to share the video to help me get the word out! The more views these types of videos get, the more I can prioritize them in production!
Holy shoot the thumbnail looks fantastic
Awesome! Thanks.
I just watched a video short about an arachnid called the Spiney Huntsman from Ecuador.
What a neat looking creature.
Giant goldenknee tarantula. spider,
The zoo bought it from a pet shop in Korea, Gunpo city and is currently breeding it. It's amazing that you can make videos of all kinds of arthropods. I'm subscribing well.
Wonderful spider
Another fantastic video mate 👍
thanks so much Nicky!
Your vids are always so beautifully crafted, truly doing these majestic creatures justice. The Chaco is one of my favs, the stripes look like veins of gold shimmering through the rock, so fitting for an iconic South American keystone species.
Great video. Beautiful spider
Spiderlings are very cheap to buy in USA and UK
Love this style of mini documentary, amazing camera work!
Thanks so much! There are more coming soon! Have you seen the others yet? czcams.com/play/PLjBrtja7Q8uhos5c0u-GRVIydAnPnNd6t.html&si=CKEYhRJQX75exQeE

Very nice job and great video!
Simply excellent video!!
Gorgeous video and great work!

Richard, this was freakin epic!!!
They're so beautiful! Thank you for making all these videos! I found a new passion in tarantulas, and I'm pretty sure this gem will be my 1st one, I love them so much
This video is beautiful. You’re raising the bar. 💛
great video, please more of this
Brilliant absolutely loved the Vid 😎👍👍
Your nature documentaries are always a joy and fun to watch. Good educational video as well
This is the 1st time that I've seen one of these videos. Nope- CZcams didn't notify me. I was paging through my subscriptions is the only reason I caught it. I ❤️ 😍 💖 this style of video. Thanks!
Superb quality content.
Really awesome documentary…Great work! I love knowing where the various species live in the wild, it helps me be a better keeper. Thank you, Richard.
Thanks for these lovely videos! Informational and beautifully done. I've spent the last few hours binging them, ahaha.
I decided to take the leap and buy a pair of tarantulas (an Antilles Pink Toe and a Purple Pink Toe) since I've ALWAYS wanted one, and the reptile show vendors convinced me to do Ts now rather than start with a jumping spider....But the sellers ended up throwing in two more for free -- a curly hair, and one of these golden knees :) Went to the show expecting one or two jumpers, now have 4 tarantulas instead 😆 But they are beautiful and I love the fact that (here's hoping) they will live much longer than the jumpers would, assuming I ended up with at least one female. I had never pictured getting a non-arboreal spider, but seeing these guys looking so lovely and spoken so highly of in all your vids makes me happy to have taken the chance and accepted them!
Lovely video on my favorite species.
Wonderful video!!!
This is amazing!! Your videos just get better and better!!
Beautiful video!!!! Cannot WAIT for more of these!
Definitely my favorite T. Great video Richard!
so adorable n love the golden color. love these type of video keep them coming
