- hi everyone! my first vlog in barcelona, spain in finally here! this is a video of my first day / days living abroad in spain where we moved into my boyfriend's apartment (I move into mine in 1 week!), went shopping at IKEA, Zara Home, and El Corte Ingles for home and apartment decor and furniture! we also explored the city a bit and started cooking at home! and I also included a huge haul of everything I purchased for my apartment!

Hi guys! I am so so excited to start sharing my life here in Spain! I feel like this vlog was a little chaotic bc I was so jet lagged and we were moving Julian into his apartment so the next ones will get even better!! Here’s some FAQ’s since I’ve been getting asked the a lot of the same questions:
•Where are you from? Atlanta, USA
•How old are you? 21!
•Why did you move to Spain? I’m getting my Master’s in Marketing degree here in Barcelona for the next two years! My boyfriend is German and also getting his Master’s in Finance here!
•Did you have the quarantine coming to Spain from the USA? No, it’s not required in Spain unless you show any symptoms.
•Why aren’t you living with your boyfriend? Since it’s the first semester at a new school and don’t know many people in Barcelona, we wanted to live with other students so we can build our individual communities and make new friends!
•When do you move into your apartment? In one week! I can’t wait for the move in vlogs!

It's a wonderful city but please be careful when you're out and about - pickpockets are everywhere and they are becoming a bit more aggressive with Covid-19. Try not to have your phone etc out if you can avoid it and just be sensible when out at night.
You can find lots of great things on the app Wallapop, both new and secondhand clothes/furniture/books.

When I visit Israel to see family, those fresh fruit stands make the best freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. No added sugar or anything! My favorite is the freshly squeezed pomegranate!

Hi! I was just wondering why you started pronouncing your boyfriends name differently?
Good question!! One is the English pronunciation (“JU-LEE-IN”) and the other is German pronunciation (“YOU-LEE-ON”). Since I speak English in my videos, I used to pronounce his name how you would in English buuuuut in real life I say it with the German pronunciation since that’s his actual name. It’s actually the same for my name as Katie is pronounced “KAY-TEE” in English and “KAH-TEE” in German but Julian says my name the English way since that’s what I’m used to! Sorry for the long explanation haha but hope that clarifies it! 😅☺️
