That entire thread was so weird like ofc if you work in a department seperate from like 3d artists you're gonna have a difference experience working at the company. The people directly working on the shows were the ones that experienced the alleged terrible working conditions
@@Le_Confuzzlementi heard some people in that department had also said their experience has been good, so I just think that some/many people in particular aren’t doing too well. Not that they’re to blame at all, I think it’s still the management that was the issue. They apparently don’t even have an HR manager and that department was “stretched thin” and not every single staff member could get the same experience as others in the department (not sure how to word it better). It DOES seem like they are trying to improve on that part of the company, though, as someone else who worked there pointed out, along with them recently starting to look for an HR manager.
I’m not saying this invalidates what they’ve done, but as long as they are legitimately trying to fix their mistakes and do what they can to make things better, then I’d say they’re on the path to “redemption” so to speak.

I've followed Kevin and Luke before they created GLITCH, and I 100% know they didn't intend for any of this. It was just them getting too popular too quick, and there's plenty of bad examples when that happens. I have full faith that they'll turn it around.

I feel like with these studios and the reviews it just depends on who you are as a person and how you tolerate certain types of people. So many times I see an indie company make a breakthrough and they make a mistake and immediately have to face the consequences of bloodthirsty 12 year olds who don't understand how the industry works. Theres way more to this i'm just a random guy on the internet so what i say probably isnt as impactful but having worked for 2K Games i've seen how this happens first hand

I went to smash an anime con in Australia and glitch did a panel, they made the studio seem like such an awsome place to work. I was fresh out of film school and after seeing their panel I started writing some scripts to see if they would be interested and i could sell them my scripts or join the studio. as someone who used to watch smg4 a lot as a kid, it is quite well known in the fanbase that kevin, luke's brother, slowly took over the smg4 project without really understanding that early 2010s humour luke put out there but moreso caring about the income. he did his best to turn that stupid silly channel into a coorporate soulless brand. ofc hes not an all evil monster, but he did quite a lot of things that ruined smg4's reputation throughout the years.
