- Spent a day railfanning with Richard R. around Pompano and Fort Lauderdale. We had a busy day seeing some freight and passenger trains. In this video train CSX O717 is seen switching Amerigas, and on the FEC 970 pulls cars ready to head back north.

3:05-3:08 Did you say, "the two SpongeBob square cap sd 40-3s?" SpongeBob? Okay 😄
Correct. They have the nickname Spongebob Squarecab
Great video 😀👍👍
Love the great variety in trains you caught!
Question:
What was that Tri Rail Deadhead move for (4:01)?
Evan Bart 410 thanks!
The Tri-Rail deadhead was for a southbound to originate from Mangonia. Sets do not rotate more than once without being sanitized at Hialeah, and some trains that are scheduled don't have a counterpart, like that one - likely it was P521.
