In the current Wimbledon, his dad said something to Badosa while they were watching his match, and she obviously took exception to it, because she was glaring at the back of his head for a long while. I get the impression he's a bit of a fiery Greek.

      @@hello-mv6yg Apparebtmy not if he doesn’t remember that this camera has been in the same position the entire match. They didn’t put the camera up on a change over, it’s been there. That’s like someone driving to their home and they hit the garage with their car. The garage hasn’t moved, it’s been in the same exact spot for however long you’ve lived there so either you are blind or stupid or a combination of both. He _knew_ that camera was there. He sounded pathetically whiny ti threaten a ridiculous law suit for breaking his hand. No judge in their right mind would agree with him and pay him 10 million dollars for his own stupidity.

Tsitsipas is terrible with the toilet breaks though. I think he either has to come out and say he has a weak bladder, or stop it. He did it against Murray at Wimbledon this year I believe.

      Second, another player’s bad behaviour doesn’t make Stef’s behaviour ok.
      Third, Stefanos was openly sceptical about the vax.
      Finally, you can at least try a bit better with the name play - eg Novax, had to think twice when I read Novid.

    It is perfectly understandable that players complain about coaching. But some of these other cases are truely childish... For example, it is impossible to string a racket in under 15 minutes, so Benoît Paire, maybe decide earlier enough to get it done?

    Sandgren was wrong, the kid dropped the ball and it doesn’t matter if it’s in the middle of his toss, the umpire has to stop him. Even in the middle of a point, if a ball came loose it would be a let.

      I can't recall his name, but there was a guy in the last video of the grass season I just watched, who had the ball fall out of his pocket twice during the match. He got a code violation. Maybe they should fine the ball kids lol. I can understand why Sandgren was angry, but the rules are there for a reason. It's off-putting for his opponent for a start when the ball kids are retrieving a loose ball.

    When are they going to ban Tsitsipas' father? I'm not saying he should get a life ban... yet, but he gets his son warning after warning, code violation after code violation and for some reason is still allowed to sit court side. At the end of the day they are cheating and the officials should put an end to it.

      Fun fact that Muratoglou also coaches Tsitsipas (as well as Serena) so you can tell where Tsitsipas senior has gotten his ways. I think umpires are too nice with him to give him warnings though. He’s had many violations but other players get straight violations and he gets warnings .. why

    I remember the Medvedev vs Rublev match at Cincinnati. Medvedev had a 4-0 h2h and never even lost a set to rublev. Medvedev wins the first set 6-1 and looks absolutely unstoppable… until he hits that camera. Rublev played well too but damn did Daniil implode in this match. One of the worst chokes I’ve seen this year next to Stefanos at the French open and medvedev choking up a set and 2 breaks to Grigor at Indian Wells.

      Still Stefanos's choke against Zverev in Cincinitatti after being double break up at 4-1 or 5-2 in the 3rd set is way worse.
      However, the WORST choke of the year was Alcaraz losing the 2nd set to Gaston 7-5 after being up 5-0, that tops it all lol.

Who in this day and age would want to sue someone for an amount LESS than their net worth?       Seriously, for some reason players seem to behave a lot worse when the umpire is Nacho Forcadell. At least I have the impression that they talk to him with a lot less respect than to other umpires

      I think if there is an interruption between 1st and 2nd serve that disrupts the server’s rhythm, they normally get a first serve again. I think that’s what Tennys was getting at. Not the clearest though, but he was right about the ball toss at the call.

    Forcadell, Nili, Haigh,Cicak,Zheng… all rubbish umpires. They got nothing on Lahyani, Nouni, Maria, Asderaki, Lang, Vejlovic, Molina, Murphy. Those are quality umpires

    Paire, a waste of space. Totally unenjoyable to watch. It's always somebody's fault, never him. He just turns up for the first round & collects the money & laughs. A disgrace to tennis.

    It really is time that tennis player's got a bit of honour about them and start saying that they don't agree with the ump either in some of these instances. I know a lot of money is on the line but some things are more important. Jack Sock is a great example.
