I listen to this soundtrack when i do art. it's damn fine
Came here to say this.
Now i know why i couldnt finish this game in my younger days its to damn hard
Just an oldie but still a goodie, thanks for this.
You taught me to run this 3 years ago. I got a combined logged time of 2h 6m with 100% and all custom armor parts on native hardware. no ???? left thanks to you! took me hundreds of hours. You were always the best TAS/TAP runner, because I can actually imitate what you do with the controller and your video is still a learning moment. Watching again. Just great thanks a lot again. I used Hawlo's help for Rainbow Palace 1 though :) I used a combination of his method and yours to cross the water in Green Garden 3. Backed the cart save up to hard drive ;)
Fun fact if you go back to green 2 friend or foe after collecting the 100 gold cards.. he will greet you like an enemy
I remember the fish boss being much more terrifying lol
to me, it was the ice spider, no contest ha.
The music was so catchy. Great run!
I remember beating the game and the wonder on discovering little secrets by stacking bombs and bounce on them to reach new areas / platforms. I definitely didn't remember the frame drops being so massive back in the day LOL. This vid brings back so many memories, multiplayer fun included, thanks a lot for posting
the pal version is even worse, believe me.
I like the 64 bomberman wayyy better than the new bomberman games.
Never made it to the last zone ^^ I was so bad at this ^^
ive always had issues getting all the gold cards. i mean im not surprised ha. this is insane mate, nice job!
1:23:35 the next 60 seconds are just masterful
I remember I bought this game used and played it on my brother’s N64. Not having the manual, I was probably a little lost in terms of the gold cards. I got the concept of finding them throughout the open levels, but I didn’t see that they are also awarded for time completion as well as certain achievements in the boss fights. I never understood why they couldn’t just have a regular clock instead of one that counts in singular, fast-paced units. Mario 64 by comparison made objectives a little more clear going by the names of the missions. Overall though, I still have fun memories with this game. It really provided a sense of adventure and inspired creativity. I would like to replay it one day to obtain all the gold cards.
To play like this, you have to play the bomberman a thousand times in a row xd.
Awesome video bro keep up the good work bro
Thank you.
@@EddieERL yw bro
I would pay an irresponsible amount of money if this game comes to Switch.
well, it might be now haha xD
Nice shot! Two points!!! ✌🏾
Thanks c:
Excellent gameplay, Game God!!!! 👍🏽😁
Thank you 👍
@@EddieERL No problem! 😁
Never knew there was a different ending
Is this on an emulator? What sort of controller are you using, and do you have fast finger(s) or are you using turbo to pump the bombs so consistently fast? I played on the actual Nintendo 64. Darn, I could almost never get all the bosses gold cards, even after I knew where to hit, and I did not have turbo, only tired fingers. Anyhow, nice memory skills, and bomb placement.
It's only Emulator and Tool Assisted Playthrough.
a xbox controller is highly recommended, but a cheap xbox mock off for pc is enough. ps4 controllers are also ok
Wait is the very last zone technically an extra level or something? Watched a speed run on this just before and they didn't include it, was never able to finish that last level!
Yes because it required a specific requirement to unlock it (beat level 5 boss with 100 gold cards)
Yo, Game God! Did you ever thought of customizing your own Bomberman?
20:24 Crispy Fried Wyvern!!!
21:30 Hm?! That was fast! Unless.....there is a never before seen stage!
2:24 OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!
Why is everything faster? Has this to do with PAL version stuff?
26:36 Bomb Voyage!!!!! 💣💥
I dont understand why Nintendo doesn't release the GOOD N64 games like this.
Dunno why i enjoyed so much killing the fishes in the 2nd world lol
I remeber having a 100% done on here and then one day my friend deleted everything on my memery card i was so mad.
I liked this game but I don't think Bomberman 64 could ever have been made by an American company. The bouncing bomb physics required to get 100% on levels are so flakey and difficult that they would have failed playtesting long before the game shipped. I don't think it was a great choice the game developers made exploiting a buggy hack a first class game mechanic.
After you arguing here that americans games are less buggy?
when bomberman was made for america it turned into bomberman: act zero.
Also, I have no idea what you're talking about but it sounds like a skill issue. Specifically one on your end. Maybe you're just not meant to get 100%.
@@SycophanticLeech 100% agree :)
I saw this game being rated one of the worst games ever and boy do they take me back to the horrible gameplay as a child. i finished the game but never 100% so i take my hat off
