Hi, would it be okay to transplant a 7 foot potted weeping snow fountain cherry tree into a 24 x 24 pot as its permanent home? Thanks

If you keep an eye out in municipal and inner city plantings you will often see weeping cherries like you describe growing in large planters. But, the emphasis is on LARGE!
In fact, the larger the better!
And those municipal planters are probably measuring at least 4'x 4' by about 3' or more deep. Larger soil volume means less fluctuation in soil temperatures, less watering and longer, more productive growth. And of course, make sure they are free draining too. We hope this helps.
