Aqara has finally launched the T1M ceiling light which features a main light which creates white colour variations and a ring light with a spectrum of 16 million colours. This ceiling light is compatible with popular ecosystems because it supports Matter, via a compatible Aqara Hub. The Aqara ceiling light can be installed in the place of an existing light fixture and I have been using the Aqara T1m for about 3 weeks now, so continue to watch this review to find out my thoughts and how it performs.

Matter is only supported through the bridge, it's actually ZigBee. I hope they release a real thread ceiling lamp
Thanks for the video, just been looking into this. Thinking of having it in my stair well as I have a tall ceiling and no windows, hoping for a natural light kinda vibe.
That would work I think
Hey so how bright is the rgb lighting? Like if you were in a dark room and had the light to be just fully green could you see or not?
I thought it was ok, obviously a green colour is not best for in the dark, but it was enough I thought
I feel like when you were showing off colour mode in the performance segment you shouldn't have had your TV's red/pink backlight and wall panel lights on too, as they're overpowering the T1M's RGB light strip, so we can't see the actual brightness of the RGB strip on its own. Obviously I don't expect the RGB to be as bright as proper RGB bulb when lighting up a full room, but when you're showing off it's performance you shouldn't have had other lights on taking away from its demonstration.
Why do none of these smart lights have a control wire to attach a regular light switch? I don’t want to have to choose between relying on a home controller/network or powering down the whole device. I guess once we can have direct device to device control the situation will improve - something that zwave has been doing for years.
Looks a great product but I’m not paying £150 for it.
I don’t think it is value for money. Shame.
Please go back and redo your wiring your cut the live outer covering, your neutral has been cut back to far and your earth needs sorting out please get electrician in if you don't know what your doing!
Both the natural and live are covered. This is not a video to show people how to install them, it’s a review. If that’s the only complaint you have then ok
@@HomeKitAuthority only saying for your safety. good video though 👍
I Think you should mention that when you cut power with a switch, the whole lights go dead. Unless ysing Aqara power switch as an example but changing it to wireless connection yet still being under power supply.
Everyone is government safety officer these days.
It’s getting pathetic. Everyone’s got to tell someone else what to do. So he missed the sleeving on the CPC. Big deal.
