Salsa Beargrease Fat Bike Upgrades for the Trail Project Test. We’ve often pondered what upgrades would help best turn our fat bike from more than just a winter ride into a more capable and fun year round trail bike. After watching a few fat bike owner regret videos on CZcams, then suffering a flat tire which sidelined our Salsa Beargrease we decided to deck it out in our list of carefully thought out and somewhat affordable upgrades.

Fat bikes are so much fun, and that looked like a perfect trail for it!

It used to get ridden on wet days when I didn't want to get the full suspension all grimy. Now it's just plain fun, especially on tight twisty trails. Fat bikes make great trail bikes once you set them up. Do you currently own a fat bike?

I want to say it was around 32 pounds. We would have to double check though.
