    • @deepakpandey8240
      @deepakpandey8240 Před 14 dny

      Yeah? Then just dig a bit deep. City's wage structure has bonus only related to trophies and only top personal honours. Other clubs have very wide varities of bonus and very high share too. Ex: if Liverpool had won the titles, Salah's bonus would had been around twice of his yearly wage. With City, KDB and Haaland would get around 50% of their salary as bonus. Another 25% for golden boot.
      And this is because City has very limited net spend in the last 3-4 years, so their wage structure is now not volatile.
      As the case of United, well that's that. Nobody knows what those guys are doing.

    City fans never argue that it's not about money, it is of course. What we want is for other teams to admit the same instead of believing myths that any success their own team ever had was achieved by finding orphans abandoned outside their ground, signing them up for 50p, paying them in bags of crisps and waving the magic football wand over them.
    Any mid table club that wants to compete at the level City are at will need a similar amount of cash injected to mitigate the money generated over years of success by the handful of traditionally dominant clubs. It's the cost of doing business at that level.
    I hope that City's dream comes true for some other clubs. This is part of the romance of the game surely?
    If it does happen to let's say the likes of Sunderland or Leeds and Jordan wants to contemptuously disrespect them by saying they're 'manufactured' I suggest he avoids both cities.
    If anything City fans whose club attracted 27k per game in the third tier have been overly kind to him and admirably tolerant of his mendacious twaddle.
    Jordan's own team, Crystal Palace have never achieved an average attendance over 27k since the time of his ownership to the present day.

    You generally need money and alot of it to be continually successful but rightly said it's not all about that. City haven't spent as much as other teams over the most recent period but have won more than anyone by a country mile. Even if all the top clubs had spent exactly the same we would either see City being even better or the other teams being worse, either way City would still be winning. That comes down to how the money is deployed, who is making decision and who is trusted to carry out the objectives.
    City have been best in class for years and that is down to people doing their jobs at the highest level, has nothing to do with if Mancini was paid more than was was reported or if sponsors were spending more than was reported. The best thing to happen to every other club was City to get charges (alot of which are hilarious and will be thrown out and others have to be proven) as fans and media can just throw out "115 charges" as an excuse rather than looking at themselves (which I bet if the PL did they'd find charges they could throw at everyone). Get good or get gone.

      I would agree city have been very good on the pitch and had great success however you stating it has nothing to do with with mancini and sponsors would be incorrect if city are found guilty of the PL allegations. It would give increased spending on players etc that would not be available without. That said city have not been found guilty of anything and I am not implying guilt just that if true they would have had an advantage over those complying.

    • @BlueBloodPenn
      @BlueBloodPenn Před 14 dny

      @@Samivermusic Only if the increased spending was significant enough that would have stopped the club being able to buy them in the first place. We have no idea to the finance limits that the charges discuss. If the over spend breaks the rule but by an extremely small amount (in relative football terms) then that makes no difference to being able to buy a player or not.
      The rules are also inheritably unfair against clubs that want to grow and have the capital to do so in the first place. You can labor the club with mountains of debt and let a club rot but if an owner wants to invest then your hamstrung. So even if City are found guilty of overspending, to me the lying would be the worse charge since the rules are not fit for purpose to begin with and just change every year anyway.

Nobody knows until the hearing and any subsequent media coverage. As for ffp I think uefa made an error calling it fair play especially as they acknowledge in one of their yearbooks that they know bigger established clubs have more revenue. I still think they did need to do it after their financial report in 2008 showed 50% of their member clubs were running at losses of which 20% were at serious financial risk. It does not work though and I think a lot of options like a salary cap would be challenged by players /agents and imo the likely winners their would be the players. It's a mess

    No, football is about football but for all the people who dont really care that much about football and can see it gets ALL the attention, for those people its about money.

    City need to stop sending 115 and their wage bill out on the field to beat every other team ,time they start sending football players out on the pitch ,these 115 charges is playing better football than Messi , Renaldo , not to mention the subs , the biggest wage bill , I think they play better than the 115 who is the starting eleven , envy is killing the football spirit , there was no breach of financial fair play when Manchester united has all the biggest name in football playing at Manu at the same time ,as soon as the European own clubs can't win a trophy , financial fair play is the problem , past ten years these top four as they are called ,spend over two and half billion dollars on players , what has they got to show for their billions ,only the 000,000,000,
