I bought the “same type” of “1” water filters from Lowe’s and I goes in works for like 10 seconds perfectly and then just stop dispensing water. The size is just a bit short from the one that came with the fridges.
Dang it do you know what the part number is for that little white piece that pops the filter out? The fridge in my new house is missing that piece and so the filter is stuck
,ine hasnt been changed since new,3 years. ...It will not budge. is it the white rod that releases it when the door is open? thinking maybe the rod isnt letting it lo0ose
I opened my freezer & the filter door flew open, water was gushing out of the filter housing, which pushed the filter out… now I can’t get the filter back in or get the door to close. Something is broke, huh?
Not sure if you’re still monitoring this, but we tried to replace ours and now we can’t get either one to stay in… Even the old one. When you put it in and close the little door they “burst out” they won’t stay in? Any ideas?
yeh the tray thing where the water trickles into the maker was bone dry. Filter hasnt been changed for 3 years. Not my fridge. Landlords. Tryin to get it making ice again.@@BrandonActionJackson
I have same issue with this exact fridge. I Primed it. Nothing. I change the valves at the button. Nothing. I check the lines feed. Nothing. No ice in the tubes. What I find out is that the filter might be just a little short from the ones that comes with the fridge. That’s the problem. Cant find the right size and I’m sick of buying filters that just don’t work. Any suggestions?

After changing mine, the water stopped working. This never happened before. What could be wrong?
have you held the button down to re prime the system? pulled the filter out and reinstalled it?

You’re the second person to ask that. I haven’t run into that issue but I suppose it might need to be worked out somehow
