So much references to good old days of Top Gear, the music, the backup car sinking, the float itself just like in Africa Special and many more throughout this whole episode
This one seems suspiciously similar to the middle east special in terms of using convertibles. Then the entire raft thing with the sinking backup car is like the Africa one.
This has to be an homage, not just to the old programs, but the African special where the boys built a ferry to cross a river. And the best part is, the backup vehicle sank into the river, just like the Scorpio estate did back then.
After seeing this special... I like it. I can feel that they're getting long in the tooth, the jokes and gags don't feel as fresh as they used to. But there were still moments where I cracked up. If I'm not mistaken this is the second-to-last special. I hope the final one is the one to rule them all!
I can believe they actually used the A-Team theme; like in the old days
Forbidden footage of Jezza attempting to do manual labour.
Yes, and he's allergic, which is why he's rubbish at it. Top gear/grand tour ambiguous but rubbish

The donkey joke got me 🤣, throwback to the Colombia 🇨🇴 special
I was thinking of Burma when Hammond fell off his 5 legged horse 😂
Argentina when James fell off and broke his ribs
One of many running gags is back! DUN-DU-DU-DUN

That’s exactly what i thought the moment i saw it
Its almost identical
Seems like they don't just have 5 legs in burma
0:37: "So, they found a workshop!, And "CUE THE MUSIC"!
Tonight, james puts his head in a cooler, richard saws some wood and i reject a donkey’s advances.😂😂😂
The fact that they brought it back.
I was watching it on Amazon and specifically came to youtube to see peolles reactions
And James May said "cock". Lots of winks and nods to the past in this episode.
Ngl I got slight chills when I saw this scene. Just like the Topgear specials of the day!
Ahh the good old theme of building stuff and doing manual labour
May does look like a knackered version of a knackered Steven Seagal from Wish
The aspect ratio change is a nice touch as well
thanks for the upload, its how i know a new episode is out
