One of the greatest ever endings with these guys, the freeze frame of James at the end in the Evo that wouldn't die. Then the end credits of them getting hammered🤣 Epic stuff.
Yeah, the pictures at the end were fantastic. It was a great ending compared to the last few specials. Would you consider subscribing? Thanks for watching and commenting.
What a fantastic episode!! I was genuinely worried about James!! That little Evo coming back from the dead twice.....and James carrying on, after getting whiplash AND a broken rib, and soaking wet from falling in a frozen lake!!! Both legends!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💜
@@wolf99000 thats a good theory, imagine that jet landed somewhere in Africa and they have to find a way to get to a certain point where a heli would be waiting for them like the beach buggy episode
@@wpcars ok that mitsubishi is a true survivor its almost supernatural i.m seriously impressed at how it could survive the 2 times where it should have died but didn.t
2:46 I thinkthis is funny - Italian word - "G-LATO" on the aeroplane's wing :) In Polish LATO means summer, which in the given circumstances is even more hilarious
I was expecting the director to turn to the camera and say "And on that terrible disappointment," Cameraman: We not for them. Director: Yeah, goodnight.
I'm not sure....I think amazon prime made/owns it. It is a nice track and I wish they would give us the whole thing. If you subscribed that would be great. Thanks for watching!
They took off in the plane meant for the production crew going by that reaction. Guess it's a way of one upping their 'terrible disappointment' endings from the last two or three specials and getting back at them for the challenges set.
Just search for The Grand Tour Season 5 official theme opening/closing, it was made specifically for the show so I doubt you'll find it anywhere but youtube (or by re-watching this episode obviously)
It feels to me that like the trio are kinda stiff in this episode. Feels like everyone have become more stiff and serious after the war started. Or was it just me? I don't know.

An ending like "The Hangover"
God I love that evo. Died twice and still came back. If that isn’t determination I don’t know what is
I wonder if Richard were to go in the tunnel before James (full send)- would he have totaled that Impreza 🥶
Absolutely. I was astonished when it popped around the corner at the airport. Would love it if you subscribed! Thanks for watching.
James rolling up in the Evo again reminded me of when Jeremy rolled up to the border in his Lancia during the Botswana Special
Oh god yes. I’m imagining it.
James: Please PLEASE be the Beetle!
Richard: Please be the Beetle!
Jeremy: It was. But I wasn’t driving it!!!
I can see where you're coming from.

Jeremy: YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
The storyline between James and the Evo was superb and scary. What an ending

One of the most beautiful ending, "cars never lost their majesty" and the evo being portrayed as the hero off the show really gave some goosebumps 💘💘
*PLEASE* tell me someone else teared up at this _lovely_ sight?
Then, at the last bit, when they looked back before the plain mishap... Man.
I was holding back tears. The majestic music with the EVO was just amazing.
My cold dead heart felt something .. , Loved this episode. Hammond on that ski lift .. my god haha
Hands down one of the best if not the best episode of grand tour.
It was funny when they took off in the private jet and left the filming crew behind 😂
I wonder if that will lead into the next special have them lost and have to get home
@@wolf99000 thats a good theory, imagine that jet landed somewhere in Africa and they have to find a way to get to a certain point where a heli would be waiting for them like the beach buggy episode
The evo took a bloody beating and was determined to reach the finish. Massive car.
Best ending of all time
This why i love JDMs they never die within my heart. My dream car was always the Nsx and it was still my dream car till this day
yes
Anyone else think them on the wrong plane will lead into the next show with them having to get home from where ever it drops them off
That would make sense.
I can tell you where I dropped them off! 😂
3:24, seeing James with a bottle of Vodka with bright sunglasses on was hilarious.
These guy are the best. Great show guys.
Absolutely they are. Would you consider subscribing? Thanks for watching.
This is why I love the EVO
I love it too, but the impreza is better......
Hopefully james gets that Evo back and fix it back.
They wrote it off. 😔
That outro music is stuck in my head for some reason and I don't mind it

3:18 look they’re taking the private plane leaving the tv crew behind to go on a wizz plane
for those asking for the song when James enters with the Evo/ Jeremy talks about the cars, it's Mercury Rev - The Dark is Rising.
What about the tune at the end when there getting hammered
@@garyjohnston5740 no idea, sounds like some composed music for the show and not a third-party song.
The outro theme is the intro theme, which is an edit of the s2-4 intro

I want Jeremy to narrate everything car related forever

He owns THAT Evo in 3,2,1...

St Jeremy looks astonished.
2:28 at this point I played "rage my dream" by move, cause that EVO, will never die, even though Mitsubishi themselves want it to

I love the v8 Audi
Me too, but the subaru is better. hehe.....The audi isn't really a quattro though....

When Hammond destroyed his ford why didn't they have a spare car?
You mean in the Save The Word special? Well I guess they weren't expecting it....or maybe they did have a spare but didn't film it.
