The trio head to Mauritania in Africa for their second-to-last episode before all three prepare to call time on their tenure working together on-screen.

These three could review public toilets and I would watch every second of it. I'm going to miss the cars and destinations, but the trio together will always be a riot.
I feel the same, their dynamic was always been more than just beyond cars and I am so glad they have flourished in their individual projects, but I hope so badly that we can see the gents one more time in another format. They just bring a comfort and joy that I don't think television has ever had an equal in, so here's to hoping the gents carry on in a new form after the GT.
I wonder how they'd be racist, bigoted and misogynistic about a toilet, tho.

Toilet Humour?@@kahnadah
@@kahnadahdon’t underestimate them
It is always better to be asked, "Why did you quit?, than , "Why don't you quit?"
but the fact that they have been doing it for almost a quarter of a century and haven't hit that point yet is amazing
That’s a question I think we should stop asking anyway. When a person retires should be up to the individual, whether they are famous or not… I just don’t like the idea that you need to retire at a certain age. Everyone should judge when it’s time for them on their own…. :)
@NS_first we're not talking about age, we're talking about proficiency and the desire to do the job. who would you rather have working for you? someone who is 70+ and is great as his job and loves being there or a 20 something who does the bare minimum and complains the whole time?
@@Jon7763 that’s part of my point. That 70 year old who still has the ability and desire to do the job shouldn’t have to retire until one of those isn’t the case anymore. But that decision they should be able to decide on their own, not be pressured into it because society thinks everything has an expiry date or something.
So yes, I would pick the 70yr old for sure. I dislike that some people look at people of a certain age and think they need to retire. One person might embrace a hobby and be happy in retirement. Another might not… hope I make sense. :)
Honestly it is insane they are able to be doing this stuff I fr thought they would get to old to do this stuff like 4 years ago and they were still doing it.
Simply the best of the best !
Still watching repeats of top gear, but only theses guys not the clowns that followed
here here
Same here in germany ❤
After years I could comprehend how much top gear were absolutely nothing without the trio. They could remove Jeremy even it was pretty fair after the accident but they couldn't adapt to the new reality at all. No talents, no ideas, nothing but pathetic existence. I still have no idea why top gear exists for now and for whom.
@@AntonBazzhenov BBC finally stopped making top gear after the horrible accident of one of the presenters just last year. and now we are down to the last episode within this year of grand tour. hopefully these three will be back soon sometime next year after a creative hiatus and cobble up something for us. maybe a traveling show like james'. with or without cars, doesn't matter. or could be a cooking show, i'm sure it will still be brilliant.

Over TWO decades!
Doesn't feel like it's been two decades, feels like 10 or less tbh
@@oneskillpoint4669 Netflix? BBC America was airing Top Gear before streaming was even a thing.
came here to comment this. For some reason it made me really angry when he said that... someone hasn't done their research!
@harrybaldwin7517 same, it's damn near close to 2 and a half decades, Jeremy Clarkson himself has been known in the motoring journalism world for over 3 decades
@@jamielavender236 I remember that Clarkson started in the late 80s
As long as they can start a new show together I'll be able to accept the end of The Grand Tour but it's still depressing that the greatest show of all time is ending 😟.
I would even watch these three having a drunk conversation if they film it
@@depayanmondal Same, they could literally make a show out of it lol.

Gonna be a sad day when these 3 legends stop 😔
And unfortunately that day will soon be here. One more special and then that’s the end of it.
Definitely. Really sad. Don't make them like these 3 anymore
@@kristianspeke1All good things come to an end.
Jeremy, Richard and James, thank you SO much for those many years of laughter! Love you all :)
The trio never got old. Few shows can claim this.
As good as they are on their own programmes, they are nowhere near as entertaining as they are when the three of them work together.
What is Hammond up to, cuz I tried getting into The Great Escapists, but the fictionalized version of Hammond didn't land with me. A shame too, cuz I like Tori Bellichi
Clarkson’s Farm is the best thing I have watched in years
@@99bimmerHe has a show called Richard Hammonds workshop and it's pretty good to be honest, worth checking out.
@@99bimmer Hammond does the smallest cog. The show is called "Richard Hammond's Workshop" where he has a company that restores Oldtimer.
and he does a good amount of stuff on the Drive Tribe CZcams Channel
Don’t be sad that it’s ending, be happy that it happened.
Im both actually. Over 2 decades of fun shows I enjoyed from front to back ending is painfully bitter sweet
This. This is the right perspective. Nothing lasts forever in entertainment. These shows are VERY demanding on the presenters and crews. We have so many years of enjoying their shows.
Top Gear and The Grand Tour is one of the few shows my girlfriend and I watch together.
thats so true!
I love watching it with your girlfriend too!

my gf can't stand it , so we just watch p@rn together

@@mehere3013tell me about you guys watching that together. It turns me on 😋
Leave them wanting more Gents.
Absolutely. So many legends fizzle out into obscurity, and that would have been tragic for this trio.
these three just need to do a podcast...it would immediately be #1
I would love it. The only time I've ever heard them on a podcast was on Adam Carolla years and years ago
I agree and they should call it "Conversation Street"!
@@aravindparthiban3157or "pod crash" (for Hampsters' sake! 😅).
And now I’m depressed 😢
Same, the sun is out, just ate an omelette and was feeling pretty good but this came up in my feed and now I’m really sad 😔
We need this trio doing something together, they are too good and hilarious together.
An animated series
They are brilliant on their own. Together they are on another level
They gave me some of my best memories when it comes to television. I want a box set of top gear and grand tour and that's all i need to watch till the day i die thanks boys you gave it one hell of a go.
Top Gear has been out on dvd for a long time. Amazon will most likely never put Grand Tour on dvd or blu ray because it would take away from their Prime streaming revenue.
@@sst1911 dvd huh what about blu-ray and as for the grand tour thats a shame but im sure they're ways to get it
I'll keep rewatching their specials for the rest of my life. They make me feel so incredibly happy, its such a big part of my life.
Thank you, thank you and thank you!
I've said before but I'll repeat: these three are brothers. They're different personalities and can annoy each other, but only a sibling can make you laugh or press your buttons in that special way.
The show is not just about cars❤
It’s also about friendship and how a bunch of guys can get along and still disagree just like I do with my friends and every time I watch it I never get enough… I haven’t eaten nine-year-old. They grew up on the show I had to do some creative remote control wizardry to get around to suggestive content but overall the show is pretty clean and it is so funny. I have my boys rolling on the floor watching episodes over again you always catch something new… I hope they don’t go away whatever they do I will watch…
Bruh I’m crying😢 this can’t be happening…
Peerless. Thank you.
Without Top Gear and Grand Tour I wouldn't have the best job in the world. Those guys are awesome.
Honestly, if James and Richard showed up in and episode for season three of Clarkson’s farm, it would be pretty cool, I think Kaleb would get along with James and his OCD and wanting to do everything properly
I think it would be enough to have them tour the farm and enjoy a pint in the last episode, the show works well with the existing cast
Isn't Hammond basically banned from Clarkson's farm? I think that's the lore anyway. Might happen in season 4.. :)
as expected, Sand Job didn't disappoint. Three guys still having fun. Different as they may be, the chemistry works and the whole is indeed greater than the sum of its parts. Merci, Jezza, Hamster and Captain Slow.
Definitely the best trio on tv that i can think of. im 33 now, been watching them for so long. Really is a sobering feeling knowing that its done.
I absolutely love these three and wish they could continue working together ON ANY project. Doesn’t even have to be car-related. If these guys want to just do roadtrips and visit nicer places, instead of doing the hard grind of the Top Gear specials style of videos, then I’m seriously all for it.
The best TV Show, not only Car Show, there ever was and will be. 🚀😎
James May is right. They started with a mutual love of cars. Then it became about how much they can annoy each other. Its childish and silly, but it's what good friends do to each other. So their chemistry is on point because it's so relatable.
Legends! I will miss them too much 😔
Without these three on our screens together should be made illegal. I have all their specials, and go through them over and over. They’ve entertained me for so many years.
Iconic Trio.
It should be blatantly obvious that May's comments were mostly tongue in cheek. That's his style of humor in general and there's no way he would've left Top Gear to do The Grand Tour if he actually disliked Clarkson and Hammond
I have enjoyed every second watching these 3 together. Their dynamic makes any topic they explore, so entertaining. I will truly miss the interactions.
These guys have been my favorites since day one they started! They will be missed when it is all over. It will be a sad day.
Thankyou to all the team on Grand tour it’s been fabulous, looking forward to the last two .
I still can't get enough of this show, I've seen a lot of episodes a dozen or more times. To 4 favorite specials they made are. Bolivia, Polar, Vietnam, and Columbia. Plus, my Dad was a big fan of these guys, and now that he's gone, I still feel like I'm hanging out with him sometimes when I watch an episode we had watched together. Oh, and my Dad was also an Allman Brothers fan, which is where I got the name Jessica from. Most of you probably know that the theme for Top Gear, which is also my ringtone, is the song Jessica by the Allman Brothers.
Legends. Go out on top. You never know, the odd special in years to come..
I love these guys. I like to watch their stuff when they aren’t together but when together its just so special.
Sad times these guys will be remembered as legends forever 😪💯🙌🏼
I will miss these guys so much
Never want it to end. Sad to know the end is coming. Hopefully they do something together, even if no cars are involved. If not, then thanks for all the laughs, lads.
It works because they like each other, they like comedy, and pushing each others buttons.
I absolutely love Clarkson’s Farm.
I love virtually anything James May does, from toys, to cooking, to repairing old lawn mowers.
I really never followed the hamster much.
But I truly enjoy all three of them together.
Hammond's Workshop is enjoyable. his survival show with Tory Belecci (Mythbusters) apparently wasn't good. I like both guys. Clarkson's Farm was a suprise hit considering Clarkson himself :P
@@HesmiyuMCI agree. I enjoy hammonds workshop show as well. I watched his survival show. As much as I love Hammond the show was really bad. The writers were trying way too hard and it came off as super cheesy. It’s a shame because that show had every right to be good.
Best show out there
TG, GT...absolute genius small film making. Best trio ever
Does anyone know where I can see the interview they're doing at the start of this video?
There is no way im going to accept that their car-trio is going to end, im always going to check if another episode comes up...
The best trio to ever grace our tv’s
Sand job was fantastic. Will be truly sad if they do finish. They've left an amazing legacy. Thanks for some amazing adventures.
Well they lasted longer than Top Gear on Woke BBC 😂😂😂😂😂
And they’re stopping on their own terms, not because the program flopped 😂
@@jgxbernardo Absolutely…..
Me watching a new episode of grand tour: 😊
Me watching the credits roll: 😞
I grew up with these three blokes, can't even imagine that one day, it'll all just end.
"I started on the show when I was 30" - I felt that.
I don't care what they do next, as long as they do it together.
I know for a fact, I'm going to cry watching it.
"All three had become the face of motoring television for over a decade"
Try over two decades mate
They could each pick up someone new to represent them in the journeys while they keep back in the TV crew car laughing about them and planning the challenges. I will miss so much those travels, the low-budget cars one as well... 😢
They had a long run and done really well. I wish all of god luck and thx for the manny houers of fun u have given us all. U will be missed.
I’ve enjoyed watching them for 15-16 years. The specials have always been entertaining, and I’ve watched them multiple times. The super car stuff is interesting, but I liked the stuff they did with just regular cars more.
I guess all good things must come to an end at some point. These three have been pretty much the only TV entertainment I genuinely enjoy. They are like three big kids going on adventures and tormenting eachother along the way lol.
After Sand Job I had to watch the their Botswana Special again. Too much fun.
Just watched it again last night; we still laugh.
Grand tour has been amazing, and even their separate shows, the farm, etc. This 3 together are just amazing.
I will miss them badly. There is not a single car show even half as fun to watch.
Re May's remarks, in the 1978 'rockumentary' The Kids Are Alright, Roger Daltrey says something similar "you'll never find 4 more 'orrible geezers who get together and make noise". The results of that are evident - the greatest live act in the history of rock.
Clarkson May and Hammond have a fantastic chemistry. they are all very different people yet they blend beautifully. and we shouldn't forgot the unseen 4th member Andy Wilman, the producer, without whom the show wouldn't be anywhere near as good.
I don't even need them to go around in cars just have them sit around in mays pub or clarksons farm or even hammonds workshop just talking and taking the piss outta each other
I hope the very last scene we see with these 3 is them driving into the sunset in their favorite cars from the past
As sad as it is...we knew it was close. They are old. It saddens me to know my favorite trio on TV will not continue but they have my thanks for such an amazing entertainment these decades.
They are getting gray-er and we hate to accept it. Because we simply can't get enough of this trio.
To the entire team. Thank you.
I could cry.
You 3 could do a show about nothing, just driving around the British countryside and I would still watch it, it's the dynamic between you that made the show the greatest show I ever watched (not just motoring show simply the best TV show ever).
I am not happy about this. These gents have been part of my family's lives for ages. I sincerely hope some channel or group gets them to do another Top Gear type of show. They have brought happiness and laughs to millions of people. I wish them happiness and long lives. I will miss these shows. Thanks for the memories boys.
Sand Job was another masterpiece... Whatever they decide to do I'll be there to watch it
The cars and what they do with them is secondary to the three of them being on screen together with the incredible friendship and chemistry they have. It doesn't really matter what they do together, we'll still watch.
Going to be sad when the final episode is aired thank you for all the laughs over the years 😊
They could review wheelchairs and I'd honestly pay to watch it
Alas we all knew this day would come... Can't say it isn't heartbreaking! Been watching the boys since the early days of Top Gear and don't think there will be a replacement for them in our lifetime. Though you'll likely never see this... Mr. Hammond, Mr. Clarkson, Mr. May and Mr. Wilman. THANK YOU!!! For years you all have given the world something special, done things which will never be done again, and were able to take us all with you along the journey. Just know that through your pain and suffering, you have brought immeasurable joy to millions of people across the globe. I know you all will remain the best of friends and while the days of the Grand Tour are numbered, hopefully you all can relax together a bit out on Clarkson's Farm. Go have a cold one mates', you've earned it~
I'm the same age as The Hamster, born 1970. Although he's not that old I thought Jeremy looked especially old and tired in this latest special. It's been a privilege for me to have been part of this journey with all three of them, from James's first appearance on Top Gear to this penultimate special on Amazon. I have enjoyed every last minute of it, there has been so much laughter along the way and also a few tears. But all good things come to an end. So long my dearest tv friends, thank you most sincerely. I wish each of you all the best whatever is next for you..👍😊
I adore this trio, love grand tour.
Still in denial… it can’t be over.
So sad to hear that but I guess they need some time off with families ;) so happy that I’ve had opportunity to see them on tv, live and so on. 🎉🎉
ngl I would love to see a clarksons farm special where the other two give farming a go.
Would love for them to do a couple of look back shows across their careers doing this, favourite moments, scares, revelations etc.
Just a couple of wrap up ones where they go through their best and worst times together and some of the amazing and crazy things they’ve done over the years and how they came about.
There’s so much they couldn’t do it in one show but two or three would be a great send of
Awesome careers and friendships they’ve had and have!!!
And I love how they’ve stuck together, as Thor said “Because that’s what heroes do…”
Good idea, I reckon they'd get a few hours out of their memories.
Its Sad To Know But we Want Them To Continue to Entertain Us Till they 85y olds
None better!!!
These three deserve a theatrical film to go out with a bang!
well, if this is the end of it all for them (as a group); then WOW, what a ride they've had, and what a good time we've all had watching them. that's how you wanna go out, on top.
It’s fair to say I grew up watching these guys, they are part of my fabric. I don’t want them to go away yet. Just a little more! (Well a lot actually!)
"Hammond you idiot you've reversed into the sports lorry" will likely always be one of my favorite one liners ever. These guys were my childhood but all good things must come to an end. Don't be sad that it's ending, be glad that it happened (or something like that)
they arent going any where ... they keep saying this and then they come back
Thanks to the trio for entertaining me through my childhood, teenage years and now my adult life. We should all be grateful for being entertained for all these years. Absolute legends! We will miss you
Same 😀
Best trio to ever exist 🥹
These 3 are a national treasure 💯
Technically 2 decades is over a decade, but minimized their contributions.
I keep binge watch top gear s01-22 all the time, I have it stored on a harddisk connected to my living room TV..
I dont think is over . I see them going back to BBC Top Gear
I think it would be funny if the 3 of them did an episode of Clarksons farm together
I'm going to miss them so incredibly much 🥺🥺
