It got me hooked on the band Triumph!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😆😆😆🙂🙂😁😀😊 I like the stories Rik told!!!!
It's great to see Rik healthy and still performing in fine form. Anyone here who has not seen Triumph's stellar performance at the US Festival in '83, go watch it NOW and thank me later.
It was bound to happen since his vocal range as a young man was incredible…and incredibly high. I don’t care he still sounds great and I’ll bet he can still play a heck of a guitar…👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Triumph's songs touched my heart so many years ago... and they still do. I love this song!! This was one of the songs the radio played when I walked to school in the early 80s listening on my walkman, the cassette player ate up the batteries too fast lol so radio it was. This brought back the memories like it was yesterday. Triumph is one of those bands that's ingrained on me forever with reverence and a big part of why I learned guitar myself. Rik not only still has it, but has developed even more. He really knows how to accent and play with nuance and makes it look as easy and natural as breathing. I'm so happy I got to see this. Thanks!
So often we see ourselves reliving these songs which is why they are timeless and hit close to the heart. The music today just doesn’t have that punch anymore. Rik Emmett is a legend and Triumph will remain one of the greatest bands ever. Thinking Man’s Music. Thanks Rik.
I'm so happy to see him with almost the same vibes that he had much young, with the Triumph. Because life goes on, and The body suffers with the time, but what really important is the heart, the spirit of what you love. And Rick looks agree with that, with rock in the heart

70 year old rocker!!!
Im honored to have the opportunity to still listen to him.
Thank you!!!
Always admired the level of musicianship and to be rockin like that at 70 Rik is just legendary 💯
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! One of the very FEW rockers who have aged as elegantly as fine wine. Rock on Rik....rock on.
omg what a stellar performance. Mad respect for Rik at the age of 70 still givin it all he got. Another singer in his 70's that I admire and he also still has a great voice, would be Dennis De Young.
Rik Emmett is one of the reasons I became a Musician. Pure Talent and emotion, LIVE Off the Floor NO AUTOTUNE and No Sampling. Great Songwriter, Singer, Performer and one of the greatest, most underrated Guitarists of all Time. As a 14 year Old Kid I took a half day off school to watch Triumph at Ontario place and I was blown away then as I am blown away now. Keep On Rocking Rocket as I have visions of Street Fighter Man from 1978 in my head. Thanks so much for posting this.
This song and many others Rik wrote with his band Triumph will be remembered by Rock Music fans many years to come! Thank You Rik and God bless.
When I was about 11 years old I saw Triumph on MTV!!! This was 1982 and the song was "Lost In A World Of Fantasy"!!! It was the first time I'd seen Rik Emmett and the first time I'd seen a Flying V electric guitar!!!! The video fascinated me!!!! It got me hooked on the band Triumph!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😆😆😆🙂🙂😁😀😊 I like the stories Rik told!!!!
Blew me away 41 years ago at the RoseBowl in Pasadena California, just blew me away yet again.
True talent never fades away.
Every singer has to drop key sooner or later, Rik always knew his limitations and nailed it. As usual
Unless you are Vince Neil and you just run a track and fake it !!!😀😀🤣😀
Oh my God what an amazing voice Rik, 70 years old in the mastery is still there
My God, I love the band Triumph, and am shocked to see where time has gone.. Riki still has the gift. God bless him!!
He sounds GREAT! And an amazing guitarist. Thanks for posting.
My favorite Band growing up as a teenager. He still sounds awesome at 70+.
Thanks Rik, God Bless you!
Fantastic!! Thank You Rik Emmett for ALL your amazing songwriting talent and Thank you Barbara for posting🙏❤❤
Outstanding !!!! I just can't put into words how inspiring this performance is. Thank you so much !!!
Damn. Dude has always had an amazing gift. Caught Triumph in Toledo Oh back in the 1980's. Rik was incredible.!!
It's great to see Rik healthy and still performing in fine form. Back in the day he was part of an exclusive group of vocalists whose voices could reach stratospheric levels, such as Brad Delp and Rob Halford to name a couple. Anyone here who has not seen Triumph's stellar performance at the US Festival in '83, go watch it NOW and thank me later.
Once an entertainer always an entertainer. Talent personified.
Saw Triumph for my birthday in Baltimore in April 1985. The magic of music still lives in this man now as it did then.
The new key brings new and exciting chord voicings. What a great rendition of this song from one of the most talented musicians on the planet!
Rik's voice encouraged me through some very touch times as a youth and I'm so thankful to hear his voice today... so many years ago.. thank you for the beautiful music that touched our hearts and helped us through the tough times!!
Rik's music has been the soundtrack of my life. His lyrics have helped me ride the highs and lows.
This song takes on a whole new meaning 40 years later with age and wisdom. Rik has the story and wisdom to share and I hear it with this rendition. Beautiful.
OMG! When he mentioned putting a transistor radio under his pillow to listen to music, that took me back to my childhood. I did the same thing.❤😊
Thanks!
Rik is a monster musician. ❤️
Many these days know nothing of Triumph, and that is a crying shame. Being a Cali Boy, we rocked Triumph.
What a nice guy, great performer and just a wonderful man. Gotta love Ric!!
So often we see ourselves reliving these songs which is why they are timeless and hit close to the heart. The music today just doesn’t have that punch anymore. Rik Emmett is a legend and Triumph will remain one of the greatest bands ever. Thinking Man’s Music. Thanks Rik.
Awesome Rik.
Please go out on tour again.
He toured nonstop for years. Time to spend time with his family
I'm so happy to see him with almost the same vibes that he had much young, with the Triumph. Because life goes on, and The body suffers with the time, but what really important is the heart, the spirit of what you love. And Rick looks agree with that, with rock in the heart
Absolutely beautiful!!!
Thanks for the walk back in to the time to the Philadelphia spectrum. Thunder 7.
My first concert ever!!
Still by far the best to date and I’m now 55.
Much Love
Much Thanks
God bless bud
Still such a great song and this performance had his usual great energy. Thank you so much for posting this and the other clips!
Man I have always appreciated this man's music it always has good positive Godly lyrics thank you for all the years
Over 4 decades later and it still puts a smile on my face and a tear from my eyes. I still miss her.
Pain can be long lasting ...same with joy
Rik emmett always ranked as one of the best guitarists in my book.. And I stand by my claim.. Nice job🤗🎶🎙🎸🎶
A top rated musician reinventing himself to give a top notch performance. His use of a Yamaha guitar speaks volumes for such an underrated guitar.
He still sounds amazing! Thanks for posting this!
