- Meet the NEW TSO GRS-16 PE v2 Guide Rail Square! This is a new and improved track saw guide from TSO. Simply, drop the square on at any point without having to remove accessories installed on your guide rail, like clamps, guide rail connectors, and hose deflectors. The guide rail retention which keeps the GRS in line with the guide rail and the latch properly seated, was changed from a T-shape to an L-shape to enable the drop-on functionality. It is faster and easier to attach/detach from your track. Attach to longer guide rails without having to reach all the way to the end.
Provide a drop-on attachment method for the Parallel Guide System on Makita and Milwaukee guide rails. (The Drop-on TPG Adapter is only compatible with Festool and Kreg guide rails.)
You can make using the longer TPG-50 set less cumbersome when attached to the GRS-16 PE v2 as your connection method, especially compared to the Slide-on TPG Adapter.

I rarely slide one more than 8" from the end of a rail. It's a minor improvement, I will keep the v1.
v1 is still very good.
So the new one does fit the Milwaukee correct?
Yes that is correct
It looks like all you need to do is grind down the T into an L?
There are other small adjustments that were made other than the t track
I dont get it. Isn't it adding thickess to only the start of the rail, makin it not contact the workpiece ?
it doesn't add any thickness. it sits inside the track and edge of what you are cutting to form a 90 degree angle so what you cut is perfectly square.
@@HowYouCanMakeIt you never show how it works in the whole video. I didn't it was just a commercial and not a review, but the word square is not even in the description, it looks like everything was copied from the marketing package that they sent you.

Has anyone used this new version that has not been paid. Would like to purchase but would like to hear from others.

That would be awesome...you could sell your old version to someone starting out in woodworking and upgrade that way :)
Do make your viewers aware of how this company does business so they can order the right way. I purchased the square and liked it so I purchased the 20” kit. I found the 30” would be ideal for my purposes. YOU CANT DO THAT. Well not unless you purchase the entire system again. They will not sell you the 30” as a later purchase.
I am not sure I understand TSO doesn’t have a 20” and 30” version of the GRS-16 PE
