    When a compost pile heats up to 150 for a week no pathogens will survive in big numbers that’s what compost dose the microbes use pathogens as foods they far out compete any pathogens I compost fish,chicken waste I do it in a Johnson su bio reactor it stays aerobic through the whole process then I let my piles sit for two years or more by then anything in the compost is completely broken down never been worried about any pathogens
