    I like the idea Mark. However.... all that skim milk could have still been used for cheese!!! I do 4-5 gallons when I make cheddar. If you had two pots, it wouldn't take that much more time. Then you could also make ricotta with the whey... then use that final whey to inoculate your biochar....? Whey is a great acidic fertilizer and buttermilk also. If you are feeding it, I would think you could ferment the food with it just like one would do with kefir?...Fun stuff.
