Did my 1480 hour RV-7, same excellent borescope, no cracks!
How many hours on this one?
Do they do aerobatics often?
How well is the elevator balanced?
I want to know too. I am building a RV8
359 hours. I don’t know about the aerobatics. elevator seemed balanced.
@@2Phast4Rocket if i were you .i might install struts on the tail .... like a citabria ..and a place to put on a lift handle. good luck
@@baselegaviation1614 Yikes, that is about the lowest amount of hours and having a crack.
What about the bits of metal inside the horizontal stabilizer left by the step drill bit?
Hi Vic. Love these videos. What is the model number of the borescope you used. Is it full 360 or two way 180 deg. I checked a friends over 1000 hr RV9 on Tuesday, and no cracks detected.
RV9 is pretty easy to check as the end rib has 3 large lightening holes. Will be checking another friend’s high time RV6 on Saturday.
vividia 855i 2 way 180. I always post the tools
used in the comments section for the video.
